Silverline Long Sleeve Jersey

Made from an advanced microfiber material called Techno, it's designed to give you the perfect balance between insulation and moisture transfer to keep you warm as well as dry. With the Techno fabric, perspiration is rapidly moved away from the skin as vapor, ensuring that you'll never suffer that cold, clammy feeling that can often afflict you during those difficult to dress for trans-seasonal rides. The fabric has a soft brushed inner surface that traps body heat next to the skin, while it simultaneously pulls the perspiration away.

A special rear panel has been stitched between the shoulder blades and is made from an alternative fabric called MicroQuad. It has been added to strengthen that portion of the jersey so that the generous three rear pockets will not sag or pull uncomfortably at your shoulders even when heavily loaded with gear. Similarly well-thought out, the jersey's underarms are constructed from Michron inserts. Michron is a fabric that Giordana considers its best performance fabric ever. Made entirely from polyester micro fiber yarns, it quickly moves moisture off the skin. At the same time, the unique miniature honeycomb textured knit allows airflow to keep you cool.

The eponymous Silverline full front zipper is reversed to provide full-frontal protection against any wind penetration. A gripper pull tab has been incorporated to make it easy to fiddle with the zipper even when your hands are clumsy with gloves. The elastic cuffs and elasticized waist will ensure a snug fit where no unwanted cold air will surprise you up the arms or under the small of your back. The already mentioned three deep rear pockets will ensure that you'll be able to take everything you could possibly need on your rides. Reflective piping on the pockets has been included, as have reflective logos on the chest and shoulders to keep you visible in low level lighting.
