An essential for every rider's kit.

Optimized for the widest variety of riders, the Giordana Men's SilverLine Bib Shorts offer functionality and riding comfort without emptying out your wallet. Through the culmination of Giordana's three decades of design expertise, the Silverline Bib Shorts provide soft-wearing support while actively wicking moisture for rapid evaporation. Its classic cut won't restrict motion, yet it still has compression along key muscle groups to combat fatiguing road vibration. And to keep you pedaling without soreness, the Cirro chamois features breathable, plush cushioning for mile after mile of blissful comfort.

The SilverLine's textured woven fabric wraps the legs with two different panels to support the quads and glutes separately. LowPro 0 bibs are comprised of wide, elastic microfiber straps, which are seamless to eliminate chafing. 190 Mesh along the bib's center enhances cooling when you're pushing along in sweltering conditions. 4.5cm elastic cuffs prevent riding up without uncomfortably digging into your skin. Rounding out its well-designed exterior, the bib's reflective rear striping keeps you visible on early morning and evening rides.

  • Everyday bib short delivers versatility and comfort
  • Streamlined fit appropriate for training rides
  • Lightweight synthetic fabric wicks moisture and holds shape
  • Seamless bib straps and mesh bib allow for air flow
  • Soft, moisture-wicking chamois gives in-saddle support

Great fit

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: LARGE

Runs true to size. Chamois fit and feel is good, even after 50 miles. Flat seams and nice compressive fit.

Great bib short

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I have a variety of higher end bib shorts but these are one of the best! They fit perfectly (Medium), the fabric provides some compression and aerodynamic properties but the best part is the chamois! The chamois provides a ton of comfort without feeling bulky plus a middle groove for your guys parts. Great for long rides. Only slight negative is the material on the rear panel is very thin and I could see over time this becoming mildly see through.

Great, butt. . .

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I love the new design, the new fabric, look, etc. The Silverline was my go-to weekday, i.e. short ride, bibs. Excellent upgrade of the chamois in this new iteration. I returned them, though. My first ride, my wife was riding behind me and started laughing, almost uncontrollably. The rear panels of the fabric are sheer to the rear, I couldn't see for myself, but she swears the moon was full. We usually chuckle when someone rides by wearing bibs that should have been retired three seasons ago for the same reason. These are brand new. . . a little too modest, I guess. I have to find another daily bib.

After buying and using numerous other bibs (Castelli, Pearl Izumi, Specialized Body Geometry) I have finally found a pair that are totally comfortable. To preface, I am and have always been pretty lanky and skinny - and riding has just exacerbated this trait. I own two pair of Giordana bibs, compared to other brands their chamois is more firm and substantial, it is the only brand that I have used that didn't have me fidgeting and adjusting constantly. For my bony ass these bibs are by far my favorite.

Unanswered Question

What is this Cirro chamois? I love my Cirro OF. I have not heard great things about the Cirro S. What do people think of this plain Cirro chamois?

Great Shorts but.....

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: xxl

These have been my husbands favorite. Unfortunately twice now on two different pairs of shorts that were minimally used the chamois has separated and bunched up. The shorts are in less than new shape, but again not used to the point where you would expect this. We have older shorts made by other manufacturers that are still in riding shape. Not sure if Giordano has changed anything in the way they are made. Also just to keep it real, they are washed in cold water, in a new machine without the tub rotate bar, with only cycling gear and hung to dry. Will be looking for another quality bib next go round.

I just had the same problem with 2 pairs of these shorts. The pad separated and bunched up inside the two surrounding layers and now the shorts are unusable. shorts were great until this happened and am now very disappointed. Never had this problem with other bib shorts at any price range. I contacted Giordana and am hoping they stand behind their product.

Great Value

As the price points of bib shorts continues to climb, Giordana's Silverline has always represented an incredible value without the compromise. This iteration is no different. Please note - I have always found Giordana's sizing to be a little more generous than other brands. I straddle the lines between S & M in most other brands, but I am a solid S in Giordana.

    Really comfortable.

Wore these on a century on a HOT day. They were great. No chaffing and the padding great all day.

    Great value Great value

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Med

5'9" 155# size med works well. Compression in legs great. Transition to upper OK. Not top end fit but a super daily trainer.

Anybody with fit and seizing experience on this model?

6' tall 200lbs. Bought XL. Very happy. Ride about the same as you.
