Windproof and lined so you can conquer winter spinning.

Though the name may already give it away, one look at the Giordana Nordic Anti-Vento Winter Gloves will tip you off that these babies are meant to keep you properly warm in seriously windy weather. They are made from 100% windproof material which will keep out the howling gusts from the Dolomiti to Denver. As a gauntlet style glove, these have an exceptionally high reach up the wrist, so that you’ll have ample protection over your sleeve making sure that no unwanted winds slip their way up your arms.

The palm has ample padding and also incorporates a silicone gripper so that you’ll always feel in control. Reflective elements have been included to keep you visible even after the sun starts to set. The Giordana Nordic Anti-Veto Winter Gloves come in Black and in sizes Small through X-Large.

Definitely Warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

As with the earlier reviews I found this glove to be quite warm (I haven't tested them in truly cold weather, <35 degrees, but will update if I ever am stupid enough to try). The best thing about these gloves is that for how warm they are, they still allow you to feel what you are doing and were easy to shift and navigate cycling computer buttons.

Great gloves!

These are terrific gloves. They keep my fingers warm down to about 35 degrees. Very comfortable in the upper 30s - low 40s range. When it's really cold, I usually start out with a pair of thin glove liners underneath. They get shed after 10 miles or so. For gloves that don't seem to have a lot of bulk or insulation, these are really warm. Highly recommended.

the winter glove I have been looking for

A glove with a lot of dexterity and considerable warmth sans the extra bulk of true cold-weather mitts. An extended cuff keeps these tucked nicely up your wrists so you are eliminating the chance of errant wind seeping in. These gloves are warm! And therefore your hands will sweat. Make sure they are given the chance to thoroughly dry out between uses. And as someone else said, I nice swatch of soft terry cloth would be nice along the thumb line to deal with wintery runny noses.

This is a thin glove but it keeps your hands really warm. My hands were almost sweating at 40 degrees and my hands are normally cold. I think the long gauntlet helps out a lot.
My fingers could move and shift with ease and stay warm.

Really warm gloves

I have warm hands, and don't typically wear gloves with much insulation. These rely on material technology rather than bulk to create a really warm environment for your hands.
I love how warm they are; I have been wearing them through this cold cold winter of 2010/2011 and have no complaints about this.
The long gauntlets are a nice touch as well, as the gloves stay put and never begin to expose any skin to the cold air.
I haven't noticed any issues with unwanted ventilation, and like the grips and minimal padding.

Responded on

What kinds of temps are you talking? It was a cold winter (her ein the northeast), and I'm always on the look out for better gloves. Thanks.

Thin glove but warm

I wear these gloves in 30-50F degree weather.I typically have cold fingers/toes, so these gloves may go down to a lower temp if you dont have this issue.

I found them to be mostly as advertised. I do have little stubby fingers, so they fit great, but a little long.

Work fine in the above freezing temps as intended.
Silicone grips are nice.Leather reinforcement around thumb to reduce wear.
I dont like wearing gloves and the fit to form no bulk is great.
Never felt hands getting too hot in warmer or sunny conditions.

Mostly windproof, but not 100%. So this helps ventilate and keeps hands from being too sweaty, but in a cold strong headwind, you can feel it leak a little.
Thumb does not have silicone grip, would be nice if it did.
No soft spot to wipe the snot off, as the exterior fabric is a little sandpaperish.
