Giordana Laser Women's Shorts $129.95
Lock in on your goals.
The Giordana Laser Women's Shorts offer you all the comfort and technology that you'd find in the bib shorts version, while still having the practical advantages that come by removing the suspenders.
Just like the bib version, the Giordana Laser Shorts are anatomically shaped to fit you in the riding position and use Moovix fabric with its omni-directional elasticity that has the effect of a micro-massage on the muscles with each pedal stroke. This naturally promotes blood flow which will have enormous benefits the entire ride. The more blood you can move around to your muscles, the better your performance and recovery will be. And unlike some compression fabrics, the knit of the Moovix fabric wicks moisture rapidly to keep you comfortable in warm weather.
Giordana adds carbon to control the stretch and reinforce the fabric. Four needle flat-stitched seams help to control stretch as well as isolate muscle groups. A wide soft band at the cuffs has silicone dots on the inside to hold the bottoms securely in place while you ride.
The ALTA O.F. represents the highest level of technology available in women's specific chamois. Giordana has translated its Women's Contour Fit process to develop a pad that provides the appropriate protection for lady cyclists. The modified and streamlined silhouette of the pad is narrower which contours better to the female form on the bike. As a result, the ALTA is considerably less bulky, yet retains the protective qualities which will keep your bits comfy and un-rubbed even over the course of three to four hour rides. The insert is elastic and conforms to the body in motion, but returns every time to its original shape after activity.
Reflective elements have been added for safety in the pre-dawn or after-dusk conditions. The Giordana Laser Women's Shorts are available in Black and White. They come in sizes X-Small through X-Large.
- Low-profile Alta OmniForm chamois, Giordana?s top-of-the-line insert, offers streamlined comfort, protection and support
- Core Contour waist panels eliminate bunching when you?re bent over the bars, and the Ametista fabric?s carbon offers extra support and protects your internal organs
- Aerofix waistband, which consists of Ametista backed with stretchy, breathable Antigua fabric, holds the shorts in place without pressure points or digging
- Wide leg cuffs utilize silicone dots to hold the shorts in place when you?re pumping your legs
Note: Giordana cycling apparel has a tight fit, do not expect a baggy or roomy fit.

wore these for the first time today on a 50 mile ride and I was hurting in the lady part area. I also bought the LG Neo Power Fit and I had no problem with them on another 51 mile ride. Has anyone else experienced discomfort? I'm thinking of returning them and getting the Gore Xenon.
The chamois on these is a little 'thinner' than some other brands...the amount of padding one is comfortable with is highly subjective, and a personal preference.
The Xenon definitely has a more substantial chamois that you may prefer.
Also, try using a good chamois cream, if you haven't already. A really good brand (and again, this is a personal preference) to try is *dznutsbliss, for women; also, *Assos (available through Competitive cyclist),makes a very good cream; another one to try is by Paceline, *Chamois Butt'r HER...won't take the place of padding, but will help in overall comfort and skin health.
Hope this Helps...

I bought these shorts as well as the LG Race Course. The Laser wins by a long shot. These shorts fit great and feel great. I wore these on a century ride last weekend and I didn't have any issues with chaffing. I love waste band, it's supportive but not restrictive. They are definitely a tight fit but once they are on they feel great. I highly recommend these shorts. The price is right. I will buy these again. I am 5'4 139 and ordered a large.

I have very sensitive skin/naughty bits and always have trouble finding great shorts at a price point under $200 (I ride centuries, so fit/comfort is very important). Just finished a 70-mile training ride in them and they felt great. The quality and fit is top-notch. The pad is just right, too. I'm actually thinking of getting a 2nd pair. I've tried on the Forma Red Carbon in stores and these are far more flattering.
I agree with other reviewers, and they do run small like most Italian products. I'm around 5'6" and 125, and the medium fits perfectly.

Small, but effective.

they are the best ! they fit like a glove, and feel compressive. the material feels breathable and light. Most importantly, the chamois feels great! I preferred these over the Formared carbon shorts, since these felt a little more forgiving.
at 5'4" and 116 lbs, I found that the medium felt snug and perfect. will get definitely buy another pair !

Remarkable shorts! Fit is perfect, even on my not-so-cyclist type bod in progress; the waist is comfortable, the leg bands hold their place but not too tight or uncomfortable. The compression is perfect (some may like even more, but for me, these are perfect). The fabric is very breathable and breezy. Would have liked a bit more padding in the chamois, but do-able; also, it is so contoured that it is hardly noticeable! Very slimming, yet unrestrictive. I got the black/white short & the black/white Laser sleeveless top...very sharp and cool (word on the top though, the arm-holes are very close, order-up).
I also have the L.G. neo power shorts that many really, really liked; some say they liked better than these shorts, but I feel these are much, much better in fit and performance. The neo's chamois is bulky, and the material somewhat heavy and hot (comparatively). But that's just my opinion.
Highly recommend these easy, breezy shorts!
My Go-To Shorts
These are the best shorts I have ever owned. They fit amazingly well and the chamois is perfect offering just the right amount in all the right places. I don't feel like I'm wearing a diaper, yet I am protected when it counts. Waist band is comfy, leg grippers are just right. After 100 miles in these in 108 degree temps without any crotch issues, I decided these were worth buying another pair. The quality of all Giordana products is exceptional and I am slowly building my collection. I'm 5'3", 138 lbs and the Large fits great. Need to size up with Giordana.
Very high quality shorts!
I wear these shorts on my over 60 mile rides, they are so comfortable, the padding is not so thick like some of my older ones, but very efficient for comfort. I will get another pair for sure!

Love These Shorts
It's hard for me to find good shorts - it's either hit or miss with me. This one was a hit. The shorts were comfortable throughout my ride, and the material is terrific. It cushioned in all the right places and did not bunch up towards the top of my thighs.
