Fusion Short Sleeve Men's Jersey

Fusion in cuisine -- two or more different kinds of food mixed together to make something new and tasty -- is something we can't get enough of. Bacon-wrapped sushi, hot dog bolognese over rice noodles, whatever. But then, there are some combinations that make a lot more sense, like the blending of straightforward style and thoughtful function, like you'll find in the Fusion Short-Sleeve Jersey from Giordana.

The Fusion is a more traditional-looking jersey, to a point. The material, TVX3, is a popular jersey material that is light, breathes well, and wicks well. The cut is toward the relaxed side of the spectrum, but because Giordana likes to keep even their non-racing stuff looking racy, it isn't baggy by any means. And this is where the interesting innovation comes in. As you know, there's a difference between how things fit when you're standing up and when you're riding. To minimize the sagging and pulling that can occur across the chest and shoulders, Giordana uses a hybrid set-in/hammerhead sleeve design. It looks set-in on the front, but across the back you can see how there are two panels, one from the left sleeve cuff to behind the neck, and another from the right sleeve cuff to behind the neck.

The sleeves are secured by light elastic at the cuffs to minimize flapping. And in the hybrid mode, they've put a jacquard elastic waistband with silicone grippers at the bottom of the jersey back panel to help secure the three rear pockets. A reflective tab is sewn into the left pocket hem for safety. In front, the jersey has a reversed full zipper with a long pull tab.
