Description

Expect the unexpected.

If you own a Garmin Edge 510, you're most likely racing or aspiring to. And as we all know, crashing is simply an unavoidable part of racing. Perhaps that's why a Cat.5 criterium is silently known as the most dangerous place on earth, thus the Crash.5 nickname. So, while we never intend on going down, preparedness should never be frowned upon as bad juju. Instead, Garmin has created the Edge 510 Tether in order to prevent your investment from sliding a 100 meters down the road should it be knocked from its mount. The tether is made from nylon and elastic. So, it's guaranteed to be both lightweight, durable, and subtle.

The Garmin Edge 510 Tether is available in one size and in the color Black.

Other uses for your tether.

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

Another great use for these tethers is for providing a back-up for clip-in style (e.g., from Fizik) and other single-strap (e.g., from Lezyne) saddle bags; other reviewers have discussed these saddle bags falling off over rough pavement. (Better yet, why not put those few items you take on every ride into a pouch and pop them in a jersey pocket; it is why pockets were invented!)
