Love it
I have been tracking my weight for 3 years, but that was the only reading I could get. This scale goes well beyond that and gives me more of the info I want to see.

Great Connectivity to Garmin Connect
So far this has worked well and continues to do so after my big move out of the USA to overseas. I had set-up in hotel for the first month using their wi-fi and so far the new home is working. I've actually have this one set up along with another scale, Aria Air, that is pretty close in both coming up with the same weight each day. Right now I'm using to Smart Watch/Fitness Tracker so this has all worked out well for me in tracking health.

I wish I loved it....
I really wanted to love this scale. As a fitness instructor and personal trainer, I wanted an easy way to weigh my clients and record their body fat percentage. However, there are two major disappointments about it: 1) it isn't easy to turn on. My previous scale turned on with a slight tap; I have to repeatedly tap the Garmin Index and still haven't discovered the exact part of the scale to tap - it seems to be different every day. So while my clients are watching me repeatedly tap the scale like an idiot with no result. 2) I think the body fat percentage is off by about 10%. it is giving a percentage that is 10% higher than my handheld body fat tester (which I have compared to professional measurements done various ways). Knowing that the body fat % is so far off, I'm not sure I can trust the other metrics, other than the weight (at least that seems right). The only reason I give it three stars and not less is because I do like the way it trends the weight.

Better features - worse UI
Great scale except the body fat reading is incorrect. The previous Garmin scale was more accurate, however I can correct it in Garmin Connect. My wife reports the font and reading on this scale is too small to see without glasses. She can see the main number, but the other icons and characters are too small. The previous Garmin scale was easier to read.

Good features
I like the scale and its connection with all my other garmin devices. However, I am now overloaded with data. Most of which I don’t use.

Really Love This Scale
I love that I can climb on this thing and get a weight and then forget about it as that number gets integrated into my Garmin ecosystem. The foot tap is easy, and my scale is on a wood floor so I don't have any issues with imbalances. I already had Garmin Connect running on my phone and a good wifi network so setup was an absolute breeze. The device feels substantial and well made, not cheap. It has a big deck, so stepping onto it is an easy proposition at 5am in the morning when I get up for a run or ride. Great product.
