Description

Ride nice bikes long enough and you'll be looking for a pronunciation guide. Ciocc, Battaglin, Serotta, et al. And while we're cautiously confident in the correct sounds of these brands, we're fully certain of another, much more important one: SRAM. It's just like it's spelled. Ssssssss (say it like a snake) -Ram (like the Dodge truck). What it is most definitely not: Schram, like Tex Schramm of NFL fame. No bike name is more phoenetical: SSSSSSSSRAM.

In commemoration of the bike industry's most rampant mispronunciation, Gage + Desoto produced this fabulous t-shirt. Who (or what) is Gage + Desoto? Just like you and me, they're bike racing nerds. But unlike you and me they have the sort of design nous to be thought of as trendsetters in the hyper-self conscious design scene of Brooklyn. Let's ride their coattails and look fabulous, shall we?

This is an American Apparel Poly-Cotton Short Sleeve Crew Neck shirt. It's 50% polyester and 50% combed cotton. The combed cotton is what gives American Apparel tees their ultra-soft and worn-in feel with a superior drape. It's designed to be slim-fitting and is unisex.

Schram or S-Ram

Word on the street was SRAM was upset by BC making this shirt. Everyone is so sensitive. That is reason enough to want to rock this t-shirt! Eat more Kale! The organic farmer who made that shirt was sued by the chicken franchise!
