Description

One of the iconic moments for a US professional cycling was Andy Hampsten's GC victory in the 1988 Giro d'Italia . Crossing the famous Passo Gavia in a blizzard, Hampsten took the Maglia Rosa and solidified the immortal legacy of Team 7-Eleven in the Euro peloton.

This broken line drawing by Gage + Desoto captures the essence of the stage, and immortalizes a true cycling hero. Who (or what) is Gage + Desoto? Just like you and me, they're bike racing nerds. But unlike you and me they have the sort of design nous to be thought of as trendsetters in the hyper-self conscious design scene of Brooklyn. Let's ride their coattails and look fabulous, shall we?

This is an American Apparel Poly-Cotton Short Sleeve Crew Neck shirt. It's 50% polyester and 50% combed cotton. The combed cotton is what gives American Apparel tees their ultra-soft and worn-in feel with a superior drape. It's designed to be slim-fitting and is unisex.

Fit is true to size, I am 6'2 200lb and a Large fits me loose but not baggy. Shirt is soft and logo looks nice and you don't feel it like some shirts with bigger front logos.
