YETI CYCLES ASR-5C W/ CTD ADJUST

The Yeti ASR-5c with CDT Adjust builds on the no-holds-barred ASRc, giving its rider 127mm of travel -- almost 30mm more than the ASRc. This results in a platform that holds the potential to be either the ultimate trail bike or an endurance race machine.

Back in ’94, Yeti produced a ground breaking thermoplastic called ARC AS LT. Aided by Kaiser Aerospace and Penske Racing, this bike broke all of the rules. Considered a downhill bike at the time, only a handful were produced -- For Race Only, of course. It was a prime example of Yeti’s dedication to advancement through the application of space-age materials and pioneering suspension systems.

Fast forward almost two decades and take a look at the ASR-5c. Featuring a new weight and strength optimized layup, the 4.75 pound ASR-5c leaves no feature overlooked. Frame details like oversized chainstays and the ability to convert to a 142 x 12mm thru axle ensure pinpoint handling. You’ll also find a clean, internally routed derailleur cable on the chainstay, and replaceable chain-slap protectors that keep the ASR-5c looking good for years to come.

In keeping with the ASR-5's backcountry nature, a 120-140mm front fork will match up nicely to the Active Suspension’s super-efficient 127mm of travel. Yeti chose the highly versatile, tuneable, and reliable Fox CTD Adjust to handle rear-squish duties. This rear shock features the three position Climb, Trail, and Descend settings for simplified tuning on the fly.

The rear end offers clearance for 2.35in tires and a max of 160mm rotors. You’ll need a 30.9mm seatpost and a 34.9mm traditional mount, bottom-pull front derailleur.

The Yeti ASR-5c with CTD Adjust is available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large. Yeti didn’t want to hide its high modulus skills, so the ASR-5c comes in Raw with either White or classic Yeti turquoise decals.
