Fox built the Titan Pro Elbow Guard to protect your arms from the worst crashes, whether your wheels are propelled by an engine or by gravity. Elastic straps with hook-and-loop adjustments make sure the plastic elbow and forearm plates don't shift even when you are tumbling so fast you can't tell which way is up. Overheating won't be an issue with the soft bio-foam chassis, so you may have to find another excuse to suck down that second and third PBR after the ride.

Save my arms in a pile up off a burm.

I originally got this for my boyfriend for all ride/free ride/ downhill MTBing. I actually was borrowing it on my first free ride trail. There was a pile up at a downhill burm and fell in the process of avoiding the pile up. My compression pants where torn but what saved me from the fall was sliding on my right side with most of my weight on the elbowguards. My arms didn't feel a thing. It sustained a few scratches but the elbow guards really did the trick. Worth every penny !!

Downsides: Uncomfortable when worn during climbing.

Solution: Put in camelbak or back pack and use when needed (downhill)

Great quality. Sizing is a little difficult to determine. Check out in local store to determine the right size for you.

"If its to tight its not right"

    Light, good protection

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First ride with these pads was a 53 mile MTB trail on a mostly gravel road with occasional rocky downhill areas. On the steepest of the downhill areas, my tire got stuck in a rut and I went off my bike sideways, rolled twice, and stood up to find I only had one small scratch on my ankles where the bottom of the shin/knee guards didn't cover. This fall was on volcanic rocks, which is very abrasive and tears skin easily. These pads got scraped up but I didn't feel a thing. I will always wear these from now on for any sketchy ride. They were comfortable and didn't fatigue my riding at all. Great buy. During the fall they didn't slide or move out of position. The forearm has a mesh area under the velcro straps that keeps the straps from digging into the skin. Great design and great buy!

Sweet guards for paddling... a bit small

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Received these pads a few weeks ago and have been using them creeking in the South East. They are exceptional pads and work very well for paddling. They are comfortable, maneuverable and stay on. After using a pair of shred ready, NRS, and 661 pads these are by far the best. The only complaint is they run a bit small. I ordered a S/M and they are TIGHT on me (6'1 and 165). Good news is they stretched out a bit. Highly recommended, especially at the sale price.

I've worn them, but luckily I haven't had to test them for their intended purpose yet. No buyers remorse for me. They're lightweight, comfortable and seem like they'll do the job well.
