36 Float 27.5in Factory Grip X Fork

With all-mountain performance in a sleek, highly-tunable package, the Fox 36 is one of the most popular and capable forks seen on the trails to date. Kashima-coated 36mm stanchions are at home pounding down chunky descents, supplying us with buttery-smooth performance all over the mountain. Magnesium lowers provide ample durability and weight savings, while the recently revised lower leg arch and crown ensure the lightest possible weight without sacrificing stiffness or durability. This version of the Fox 36 is fitted with Fox's new GripX damper, which is 120 grams lighter than its new big sibling, the GripX2, and is more focused on balanced performance all over the mountain. The GripX features many of the same adjustments as the old model Grip2 damper, giving us high and low-speed compression and a singular rebound adjustment. The GripX is equipped with a firm compression setting at the end of the high-speed compression range so we can firm up the fork for more efficient climbing. In addition, the rebound is now limited to a single rebound adjustment, with the dual rebound adjustment reserved for the X2. This new setup brings us much of the same capability with a simpler overall function and more climbing ability.
