Terrain sensing -- this is how Fox describes the new Terralogic. Well, this is exactly what it does, and the Fox 32 TALAS 29 120 FIT Terralogic Fork puts the old Terralogic to rest. This is a fork that gives you the freedom to concentrate simply on pedaling and going fast, and when you stare up at the next climb, you can easily adjust the travel on the fly to optimize your weight balance and traction for the ascent.

Fox's Terralogic system relies on inertia valve technology to function. Quite simply, the fork will always revert to its locked position, with the lockout threshold easily adjustable by turning a 15-position dial to access a wide range of function, from quite rigid for racing on smooth courses to fully open for luxurious comfort over rough terrain. A brass weight inside the inertia valve is sensitive to bigger bumps and high speed compression events, and it moves in reaction to these forces, opening the flow of fluid through the damper. At this point, the fork functions with all the bump eating competence you expect from a Fox Fork. After the fork oscillations settle down, the BrassMass returns to its stable position, and the fork is locked out according to your threshold preferences.

The 32 TALAS 29 120 FIT Terralogic Fork allows quick and easy travel adjustment from 120mm (4.7") down to 95mm (3.7") with the flick of the two position TALAS knob. Click it down to stand and climb with efficiency and optimized weight balance for good traction. Click it to full travel after the climb to steamroll through rock gardens on the way down. It's that easy, and it's a great feature for varied terrain.

Fox suspension engineers re-tuned the air spring for a more linear feel, giving you a sensation of incredibly smooth small bump response and access to the full range of travel, yet you'll still get no harsh bottoming. It's designed to be run at slightly lower pressures for a decreased breakaway force. Combine the plush spring rate curve with the Kashima Coat on the upper tubes and this new fork is super sensitive to even the most minute trail chatter. The golden hued coating starts with a raw finish on the aluminum stanchions. Then they add molybdenum disulfide via an induction process that deposits the material into pores in the surface to the effect of 70 billion pores per cm squared. The MoS2 adds lubricity, extending the life of the tubes as well as greatly reducing friction.

The FIT cartridge damper improves upon their already legendary feel by sealing the fluid inside a rubber bladder to eliminate the chance of fluid aeration and subsequent variations in the damping properties. And, because it uses less fluid, it shaves considerable weight from the TALAS 29 Forks. The bladder in the damper assembly minimizes friction, allows for internal fluid volume changes, and works to maintain suspension consistency when you're really giving it a workout. With the FIT Terralogic damper, you'll also have an external rebound control with a wide range of adjustment to make this fork highly tunable for a wide variety of terrain and riding styles.

The Fox 32 TALAS 29 120 FIT Terralogic Fork is powdercoated Black on the legs and crown. It has 120mm (4.7") of travel, uses a 15QR thru-axle (axle included), and has a 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered steerer. The lower legs are quad-tapered to lean them out where there's room to shave weight, and at the very bottom are lightweight post-mounts for your disc brake. To make installation easy and for a clean look, there's an integrated brake hose guide on the fork arch.

US Fox dealers are prohibited from shipping Fox Forks outside the US.

  • Kashima Coat reduces stiction and adds durability without adding weight
  • Fox Isolation Technology (FIT) prevents the oil and air inside the fork from mixing for optimal performance in any weather
  • The 15mm QR is much stiffer than a 9mm QR and much lighter than a 20mm thru-axle for optimal XC and all-mountain performance
  • Terralogic threshold adjustment allows you to adjust the fork from full rider lockout to a softer feel

Simply Bad A$$.....

I upgraded the stock spring shock on my Rockhopper with this fork and all I can say is that although it was some serious coin, it certainly resulted in putting a huge smile on my face. Downhills are not nearly as brutal and the tracking on a corner is amazing. I cut 5 minutes off my previous best lap at my favorite local trail after putting this fork on my bike. The Terralogics is simply psychic when you pedal. After setting the sag at 100psi and dialing it in, Terralogics is set to about 5 clicks out right now which gives me just the right amount of low speed plush and incredible climbing pedal when you drop the front end from 120 to 95mm of travel. The Kashima coating and black color looks amazing on my bike (Finally a NON-White Fox on my local trail and I own it!). The 15mm axle is super rigid. I can't say enough good things about this fork. Simply fantastic for aggressive XC and All mountain. If you have the coin and the need, buy immediately.
