FOX Racing Shox 32 FLOAT 120 FIT Terralogic Fork $0.00
Next level performance.
If the RLC version of this fork is for the incessant tinkerer, this 32 Float 120 Terralogic FIT Fork is the better choice if you like to "set and forget." This is the second time around for Terralogic, and Fox made it what they meant it to be a few years back. There are no hiccups, and no disconcerting sensations as you hammer down; it just works when it's supposed to and gives you a planted, stable front end otherwise.
Terralogic relies on inertia valve technology to function. Quite simply, the fork will always revert to its locked position, with the lockout threshold easily adjustable by turning a 15-position dial to access a wide range of function from quite rigid for racing on smooth courses to fully open for luxurious comfort over rough terrain. A brass weight inside the inertia valve is sensitive to bigger bumps and high speed compression events, and it moves in reaction to these forces, opening the flow of fluid through the damper. At this point, the fork functions with all the bump eating competence you expect from a 120mm Fox Fork. After the fork oscillations settle down, the BrassMass returns to its stable position and the fork is locked out according to your threshold preferences.
The FIT cartridge damper seals the suspension fluid inside a bladder to eliminate the chance of fluid aeration and subsequent variations in the damping properties. And, because it uses less fluid, it shaves considerable weight from ...Terralogic takes all the fuss and fiddling out of the ride. Set it, forget it, and hammer down... the F-series forks. With the FIT Terralogic damper, the rebound adjustment is on top of the right fork leg, making it easy to reach. The lockout threshold adjustment is found on the bottom of the right leg. A bladder in the damper assembly minimizes friction, allows for internal fluid volume changes, and works to maintain suspension consistency when you're really giving it a workout. Fox has also changed the shape of the air spring. It now yields a more linear feel, giving you a sensation of buttery smooth small bump response and access to the full range of travel, yet you'll still get no harsh bottoming. The wide range of adjustments make this fork highly tunable for a wide variety of terrain and riding styles.
In short, Fox has yet again improved upon what was already the best damper assembly in the industry. It's smoother, lighter and more controlled. A smoother stroke means more traction. More traction means more control. More control makes for a better ride.
Of course, Terralogic is big news, but another revolutionary technology here is the Kashima Coat on the upper tubes. This coating starts with raw aluminum and adds molybdenum disulfide via an induction process that deposits the material into pores in the surface to the effect of 70 billion pores per cm squared. The MoS2 adds lubricity, extending the life of the tubes as well as greatly reducing friction. This reduces stiction and makes the fork more responsive than ever over small bumps, an impressive feat for a fork already regarded as having the best small bump performance.
The Fox 32 Float 120 Terralogic FIT Fork has 120mm of travel and uses a 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered steerer for strength and stiffness. The White powdercoated legs have an integrated brake hose guide on the fork arch. It has lightweight post-mounts for your disc brake caliper and will accept a 160mm rotor as a direct mount. The 15QR thru-axle system on the lower legs is noticeably stiffer and yields greater tracking and steering precision through rough terrain than a quick release. You'll have better performance and a smoother, more controlled ride. Guaranteed.
