Needs better straps

So I bought this last week to take to Brianhead and on Dark Hollow, and the had decent coverage but the problem I kept running into at Brianhead was that I'd have to really get the two straps tight to keep them from sliding down my arm (doesn't have one on bicep, only two on forearms). Brianhead is rocky in a lot of areas so I'd have to really get them tight. That would work but to get them to stop slipping they were tight enough to cause my forearms to hurt, by the time I was down I would have to losen them because my arms were on fire.

Dark Hollow I had to take them off because it was just too long a run to have them cutting my arms off, rather have grip and fall and deal with the scrap than have no grip and get that much closer to crashing.

I plan on returning these and trying something else.

Is there an updated measuring chart from Fox? The current measuring chart doesn't show how to measure for their elbow pads.

Do I order a quantity of 2, one for each arm, or do they come in sets of 2?

Unless Fox does it differently than every other vendor in industry, a quantity of one (1) will get you a pair of elbow pads. I don't think I've seen pads sold individually.
