Fox Racing Demo Short - Men's $0.00
Shorts that can handle your adrenaline seeking adventures.
The ride up the lift is quiet and gives you a chance to reflect peacefully on the verdant landscape. The trip down, however, is going to be anything but peaceful. Whether you are rocking the Fox Men’s Demo Shorts á la carte or over a liner for extra comfort, you’ll be ready for hardcore hill-slamming.
- Rear stretch panel makes it easy to move and keeps your butt from being exposed
- Heavyweight ballistic polyester won’t fall apart just because it slams past a tree or gets dragged across a few rocks
- Detachable optics wipe lets you clear the crud off of your goggles
Fox Racing Men's

Worried about coverage?
If coverage is a worry then look no further. These shorts have the longest inseam of any mtb shorts I own (Troy Lee Design Moto Short, Fox Ranger). Very durable, pockets are located in convenient spots (you can actually put stuff in your pockets and it doesnt distract from riding) good venting as well. Bought em for full price, dunno if they're worth the money but I'd certainly suggest them to a friend. I'm 6'2 190 and I fit comfortably in a 32.
Some Single Track Action
Best Shorts Period!!!
I use these shorts mainly for all mountain riding but have gone down hard on some technical downhill and the shorts still look new. Easy to adjust and have plenty of room for under armor padding. Recommend these shorts HIGHLY!!!!!
Fox Demo Shorts
Fox always does great on their MTB products and accessories. These shorts are made of a medium grade material, not quite the moto thickness. They provide a great material and breath very well, somesort of mess like design. Fit well and are very comfortable. Only downfall is seem a little long. I like the length of the Sergeant Shorts, but like the material. In WA we get so much mix weather, hot cold, dry wet. These shorts are great for our weather.
No better deal out there. These shorts fit great, feel good and are durable. Dumped it several times first ride and they look like new. I've tried numerous shorts and these are the real deal!
The worst zippers!
Yes, these shorts rule and are made by a reputable company. However, the concerning issue is the ZIPPERS! Both the crotch and side pocket zippers failed on me within the first couple rides. They zip up, but do not keep closed! They will continuely open as your body makes movement. Keep this in mind and if you don't mind paying the extra $$ for a tailor to fix the zippers, RIDE ON!
These shorts look cool, have some really nice features, and can withstand serious hip-checks into trees and rolling down rock gardens. They're a bit stiff and make that swoosh-swoosh sound the first few wears, but after a couple washes they settle down. The synthetic material has lots of breath-ability due to the mesh interior and large vent holes. They do get a little warm on really hot days, but not unbearable. They cool quickly when you head back down the hill. Ratcheting belt is a pretty cool feature and allows for a nice snug waist so you don't lose your pants on the trail. No liner, so provide your own, buy a wider saddle, or build up the prerequisite bun strength!
Not for UPHILLERS
The short is nice for home use, but if you are plannig to use it for your mountain bike tours tink it twice, because its to hot, uncomfort and heavy for the rides.
The short could be use for downhillers only, but in COSTA RICA, you need gear for big up hills, and the short is not the case. In one ride i had to remove my fox pants because they were simple not made for uphillers.
Great short but too long
I really like these shorts enough to ride with them almost every ride since it is winter like conditions. The only draw back is the length. If you are 5' 6 or less they are really long. While riding once in a while through technical uphill sections one leg will catch my shifter and almost cause me to fall over or ride into a tree. Does not bother me in the down hill or jumping as of yet but I stay conscious of the possibility. Bottom line they rock but wish they were a couple inches shorter.
These are made of a really nice heavy and durable material which will somewhat protect you in case of a crash. Fit is great. I usually wear a 32" and I ordered the 34" which fit perfect. They are long with the 16" inseam but they look great on. Don't mind the review at the bottom saying they're too long. Im 5'6" and they are halfway on my calves as well but they after all, they are DH shorts and flexibility is still there for full range of movement. Very nice detailing also.
Good tough shorts
Long in the leg and pretty trim. They are almost too trim, much snugger through the thigh than my Raceface DH 3/4s and marginally shorter. The Demos will become my go-to short for shuttling and riding the bike park as they don't pedal as well and seem to be made of tougher material. The DH 3/4s will be my go-to short for everything else.
Love it! very comfortable and it fits perfectly.
Just picked these up and have been very impressed. I do more aggressive all-mountain riding than downhill and these fit the bill perfectly. They vent very well and the length is perfect for me (6'2") hitting below the knee. The pockets are deep enough to store stuff if needed, and they are very comfortable.
Bomb-proof DH shorts
Great dh shorts
- size 34 come past knees and I'm 6'2 = great length
- 2 large pockets
- Burly material that is also light and breathable.
- No Chamois
------ Sick product for all your DH needs..
Length is way too long...
These are pretty long, i am 5'6 and these things go half way down my calves. Great material, but just longer than expected.
It doesn't say what kind of padding is in...
It doesn't say what kind of padding is in the huck and roll shorts? They look good but I got some bad bruises on mt back, tailbone, thighs, and pelvis. Are these just cover shorts or protective armor?
The Fox Demo short is designed to be used with the Fox Launch short underneath, the Launch short has all the padding, the Demo short is just a shell. The Launch short protects your hips, thighs, and tailbone and has a chamois. Check this link:
