Fi'zi:k's Vitesse Tri K:ium Saddle combines the best virtues of its well-loved Vitesse HP road saddle and its Arione Tri saddle -- Gregor Mendel would be proud. The Arione Tri is typically ranked number one among female triathletes in the annual 'Kona Count.' The Vitesse holds a similar grip on the road market. So, it was only natural to combine the two for the Vitesse Tri K:ium Saddle.

The Vitesse has an appropriately wide rear platform of 142mm to accommodate womens' sit bones. And in comparison to the HP road saddle, the nose has been both lengthened and given extra padding for riding at the front of the saddle. The sides toward the rear platform now have Wing Flex like the Arione Tri, allowing the shell to flex. This positions your body weight onto the sit bones instead of the genitals.

The saddle's shell is made from a carbon-reinforced nylon in order to reduce longitudinal deformation, so you won't notice any hammock effect while riding. The K:ium (pronounced 'Koom' like zoom) rails are an evolutionary step forward from titanium rails. They're 8% lighter, have a greater strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, K:ium dampens road vibrations more effectively with its Silicium treatment. This also provides the shiny glean of the rails, which is due to its slight chrome content. Even better, the chrome increases corrosion resistance, which obviously increases the Vitesse's lifespan.

The Fi'zi:k Vitesse Tri K:ium Saddle is available in one size and in the color White/blue.
