TT saddle time.

The Fizik Vitesse Tri K:ium Saddle combines the virtues of Fizik's well-loved Vitesse HP road saddle with their Arione Tri saddle. Gregor Mendel would be proud. Intelligent design has always been a human construct. The Arione Tri was ranked number one among female pro triathletes in Triathlete Magazine's annual "Kona Count." And the Vitesse has always been one of Fizik's most comfy saddles. So, cross the best qualities of each (for a triathlete), and the result is the Vitesse Tri.

The Vitesse has an appropriately wide rear platform to accommodate women's wider sit bones, and the nose has gotten a bit longer and more heavily padded, for riding the front of the saddle in typical TT fashion. The sides toward the rear platform now have Wing Flex like the Arione Tri, allowing the shell to flex more where you need it as you break the saddle in. The sides have plastic scuff guards sticking out to protect the saddle from rips when leaning the bike against a wall or in the case of a spill on the road.

The K:ium (pronounced "Koom," rhymes with zoom) rails offer a better ride than the standard titanium rails. They're 8% lighter, have greater strength to weight ratio, and damp more vibration. The damping is thanks to the Silicon. The shiny look is thanks to the chrome content. The chrome increases corrosion resistance, which helps with overall durability.

The Vitesse Tri K:ium Saddle is 265mm long and is 142mm at its widest point. The shell is made of carbon-reinforced nylon and features Fizik's Integrated Clip System (ICS), a means by which to attach a Fizik light or saddle bag directly to the underside of the saddle without the need for straps. The cover is Anthracite/white.
