Designed primarily for cross-country riders, the Tundra M5 features a long (290mm) and narrow (125mm) shape that allows you to position yourself to take on whatever the terrain throws at you. According to Fi'zi:k's Spine Concept Fit system, as a snake, you are able to minimize pressure to soft tissue areas by keeping your weight on your sit bones. Because of your flexibility, the Tundra does not feature a cut-out channel.
The shell is composed of a nylon thermoplastic composite that sandwiches a layer of foam. This provides stiffness necessary to support sit bones, while also allowing flex at the edges to reduce chafing. Fi'zi"k's Wingflex technology, which allows the sides of the saddle to move with your legs while keeping the top rigid, means that you'll transfer all your power to the pedals not to the saddle. These technologies combine for optimized stiffness-to-weight construction. The entire length of the Tundra is covered in Microtex fabric.
The Tundra M5 was constructed with rails made from a strong and lightweight alloy material known as Manganese. Not quite as light as its K:ium, the Manganese rails still have a solid strength-to-weight ratio and dampen trail vibrations incredibly well.
The Fi'zi:k Tundra M5 Saddle is available in one size and the color Black/red.
