Why We Like The Five Ten Trailcross Clip-In Cycling Shoe
With the Five Ten Trailcross Clip-In Cycling Shoe, we don't have to sacrifice off-the-bike grip for on-bike control when we head out on the trail. When the trail gets tough or too steep, and we have to hike our bike, the Stealth Marathon rubber outsole adds ample grip, ensuring we're not slipping around on loose, rocky terrain. The 2-bolt cleat-compatible design gives us a highly efficient pedal stroke every time, while the EVA midsole helps soak up big drops and trail chatter.

Great concept. Lacks comfort.
I really want to give these shoes 5 stars because they’re exactly what I’ve been wanting, but just fall a little short. I ride a mtb and indoor spin bike. I’ve always just used regular tennis shoes with cages on my spin bike, but then I came across these and gave them a try. The shoes are definitely not as comfortable as I would like. For starters, the toe box is extremely narrow and my toes feel smushed. The overall width of the shoe is also quite narrow. I’ve always worn a standard width shoe no problem, but these make me feel like maybe I should have bought the wide. The soles feel rigid and not very comfortable. I’m hoping that’ll change after I break them in. Also, the tongue… somehow it keeps getting folded or pinched and puts pressure on my foot when I tie the laces. I’ve had these for a few weeks now and it’s getting better but I can’t seem to find a good enough lace tension that doesn’t put unnecessary pressure points on my foot. Lastly, the cleat backer plates stripped on me twice. I used grease on the bolts because I knew I’d have to tighten them down pretty tight to prevent them from spinning when I unclip. As I was progressively tightening them, I pulled a thread in the backer plate. I flipped it around and somehow did it again. I wound up using the plates that came with the cleats and they worked just fine. Again, I really do like the concept of these shoes and I plan to continue using them. I just wish they were a bit more comfortable to wear. Hopefully they’ll break in and I’ll get what I’m looking for.

Awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stiffer than expected after riding the regular trail cross for so long, but perfect for clip less. Definitely a lot more comfortable overall than my old standard clip less MTB shoes.

Very Good product at a great discounted price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wide feet and was looking for a stylish yet comfortable fit for me and these shoes did fit wider than my Gyro's yet snug enough so my feet do not slip or slide within the shoes and feel great with no pain. These shoes solved my issues. Great product.

Long and narrow.
Long and narrow. These dont fit like other Adidas shoes. I've worn sixe 9.5 my whole life. These are more like 10.5 in length, but extremely narrow.

Clipless, not clip-im
These are clipless shoes, not clip in. It's embarrassing a company as large as Adidas doesn't understand these terms. They need to update their description.

Comfortable and stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable shoes. The combination of laces and velcro ensure they stay on during hard pedaling. And they're stylish to boot.
