Why We Like The Five Ten Kestrel BOA Mountain Bike Shoe
Completely redesigned to handle the demands of cross-country racing and downcountry riding, the Five Ten Kestrel BOA Mountain Bike Shoe is built for speed and comfort. Made with recycled materials, the abrasion-resistant upper is hyper-breathable and features two hook-and-loop straps and a BOA closure so that we can dial in our ideal fit for high-output rides. A full-length glass fiber-reinforced plate allows us to really put the hammer down on the climbs and is bolstered by Stealth Marathon rubber lugs for insane amounts of traction off the bike.

Nice looking, fits narrow
Size 10 mens, intended use trail riding and bikepacking. The quality is good, they're a nice looking, light, appears tough, and stiff shoe. Sizing is an issue for me. I have average width feet, including my forefoot. I found they fit small and narrower than expected, definitely too tight for long days. I tried a 1/2 size up, still too narrow.

Really nice cycling shoes.
Stiff sole but still able to scramble over rocks. Wide enough toe box for my wide forefoot.

My new favorite spd shoes for summer mtb!
These fit really well, like the Sidi Dominator but better, and the sole grips much better too. Light and stiff sole for power, but not too stiff that it’s uncomfortable. I love these shoes! My new favorite summer riding shoes. Excellent design and construction, and pretty easy on the eyes (and feet).

Solid Gravel Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great gravel shoe! Compared to the Adidas gravel shoe which has that weird sock thing on it and the super slick underside. This shoe has no weird sock or slick underside which is great. Went on a 60 mile ride right out the box and had no issues. The tread is great for spots where I have to climb or walk. And it just feels good all around. No complaints from me about the shoe at all!!
