- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Been biking for a long time! Finally pulled the trigger on a stand (tired of maintenance/cleaning being a chore). I'm glad I did, this is a quality stand and extremely sturdy. Several friends recommended this particular one. I concur.
First repair stand I ever owned
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have never owned a repair stand before but always wanted one, usually when I was in the middle of something working on the bike. This is a solid, well made, well thought out stand that is functional and easy to use. Rock solid base, quality machining. Just a fine piece of equipment. I am obsessive about my bike and the tools I own. I just can't find anything to complain about. Super bike stand.
Awesome all-around stand
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
We use these for our shop. They fold easily for transit on backpacks or in the bike trailer, and setup in a few seconds. Sturdy clamping mechanisms isn't quite our shop vice, but will hold plenty steady. Tripod legs not out of the way as much as some of the 2-leg versions are, but not bad. Look for it on sale and you won't regret.
I just received the black sport mechanic...
I just received the black sport mechanic stand (bought from you guys) as a gift. It has a simple spin clamp. Does Feedback Sports make the Pro Classic or the Pro Elite slider-style clamps available separately as an upgrade if I ever want to get one in the future? Thanks.
We can special order you a clamp head or arrange a drop ship direct from Feedback. Please feel free to contact us for more question: firstname.lastname@example.org
Can't go wrong.
Great repair stand. Really good quality. Wished I had bought one of these years ago. Pick one up on sale and save some $$
Way better than I expected
It a fact fact once you use a repair stand it is hard to use the old flip the bike over method to clean and work on your bikes. After borrowing my brothers Park PRS-25 stand over the winter I knew I needed one of my own.
I really liked the Park stand and had no complaints about it except the $300 price tag and the fact that I blew the stand over when power washing my cross bike more that once.
When I saw the Feedback Sports Pro Classic the features and the price looked competitive so I gambled and bought it. Was I in for a treat. The Pro Classic stand is super light, 11 pounds on my scale. It folds down way smaller than the park too.
One thing I love about the stand is that it is solid as hell. The three legs are ideal compared to two because I provides a huge surface that stays upright and handles uneven surfaces well. The legs can be folder out all the way for a wide base for bottom bracket of heavy bikes our can be left only partially open if you need the space to maneuver around, like in a cyclocross pit.
The method jaws are convenient and secure, but work best on seatpost and round tubes. Aero posts and frame tubes are a bit funky to work with. THis is one place the PRS-25 has an advantage. The jaws on the park are super quick to engage and disengage on various tube shapes. Taking the bike off the stand is a little slower on this stand also. The step up feedback pro elite stand has a push button release which would be nice if you are constantly taking bikes on and off the stand.
Overall I am happy I tried the Feedback Pro Classic stand and I am super impressed on the quality and functionality. It look pretty sweet as well.
Is this repair stand made in the USA or...
Is this repair stand made in the USA or elsewhere?
If elsewhere, where?
It didn't say anywhere on the stand itself but on the box it says "made in taiwan".
Why didn't I buy a stand years ago?
This thing rocks, and breaks down fast / easy and extremely portable.
Worth every penny.
A sure bet
I recently purchased this bike stand and I find set up smooth and effortless. It sure makes my routine maintenance a breeze.
This stand was recommended to me by a friend and savvy bike mechanic. I can find nothing that I dislike about this stand. It is sturdy but lightweight and suites my needs perfectly. Also the shipping was super fast. I have an APO address and usually expect to wait weeks for things that I order online to show up; turnaround this time was about a week.
Quick and solid.
Sets up fast and easy. More sturdy than I expected. Keep in my van next to my bike. Handy for the rash of flats I've had lately. I'm sold.
Yup, it really is that good.
Rock-solid sturdy, easy to use, stores conveniently in any corner. Holds the frame securely (sometimes takes an extra crank after you've been tinkering with it for a bit, like someone else noted, but I don't think this is a big deal), and it's super easy to rotate the bike around and change the height even after you've mounted it on the stand, which is major plus. And that zippy red finish...rowr. It even looks good in the living room.
best stand i ever used & owned. light weight, strong, very good design

The Feedback Sports pro bicycle repair stand is amazing
This thing is awesome, way better than the "blue" ones out there. It is very easy to use, very sturdy and the anodized red is gorgeous. It was worth every penny and now I just need some more tools to match it ;)
I use this everyday...
This is one of the stands we have here at the shop. I know it seems crazy that a stand at a bike shop isn't one of those huge heavy monsters that you normally see. Well we have one of those industrial size things but I choose to use our "portable" guy which happens to be this here Feedback Pro Bike Stand. It is just so light and user friendly. The clamp is the best I've ever seen and you can adjust the height from little kid to Andre the Giant.
Sturdy - Functional
Nice bike stand!
It's sturdy for both road and mountain bikes.
Fully rotational bike positioning. Easy adjustments for height, swivel with quick release. Bike/Seatpost clamp easily adjustable with a large knob.
Nice anodized red. I wish I had gotten the Elite model for the storage bag. Would leave it open if I had room.
No packinging. Just came in a shipping box. Mine was damaged where the clamp fold rubbed the quick release. Wore off the paint and indented the underside of the clamp arm.
Packaging for shipping is poor. To much of a hassle to exchange. Product is outstanding. Still lovin' it.
Outstanding Home Mechanic Bike Stand
I've had this stand for 3 weeks, and I'm very impressed. I've been biking for years, but recently became interested in doing my own bike maintenance. The tripod base keeps it very stable while working on my full suspension mountain bike. The construction is excellent, product is very well-designed, and I expect it to last for years.
Get Up Stand Up
I have two. I've had the original for almost 10 years, and the updated version an improvement all around. Replacement parts, which I've needed twice, were easy to get and reasonably priced. I can't say the same for some blue stands out there. My other stands(Park and Pedros) just sit in the corner and wish they were this stand.
I have been a bike mechanic for three years and have used many different types of repair stands. Since I live in an apartment, I cannot purchase a bolt-in-the-ground, type 100% secure stand; however, with the ultimate pro stand, I need not even look into any other type of stand. The wide base keeps things from tipping over. To make sure, I just tossed a few 10 lbs bags of beans on two of the legs, and I need not worry about anything moving. The clamp is 100% secure. The stand is compact and light enough to be hauled to any bike race or other cycling/tri event. I purchased mine when it was on sale and then I used a 20% off coupon from backcountry.com. You cannot beat that type of deal anywhere! Oh yes, and there was free UPS shipping as well.
