Six Pack Mk.2 Light

Exposure Lights' top-of-the-line model is the Six Pack Mk. 2, and it delivers a retina searing 1925 lumens on the high setting. This herculean output is thanks to six Cree XPG R5 emitters. It's not only bright, but it's convenient as there are no external cables and/or battery packs to get caught on branches or tie your helmet to your pack. Just like the rest of the Exposure Lights lineup, the Six Pack is a completely self-contained unit.

Exposure packs the LEDs and batteries in a slick CNC machined aluminum housing. It's sealed against the elements with O-rings to make the unit totally weatherproof. Mud and muck from the trail or a surprise rain shower will be nothing to worry about. This brings us to the lens. It's made of a high quality optical plastic. While it's plenty durable and provides crystal clear light transmission, you'll want to avoid smearing mud across the lens or wiping it with chemical solvents of any sort. When the Six Pack needs a good cleaning, just use a damp towel to remove the sticky stuff.

In case you didn't know, LEDs can get pretty hot, and a monster 1800 lumen light like the Six Pack ought to reach nuclear levels, right? Actually not. Exposure builds in thermal protection circuitry to safeguard your investment. The Six Pack detects when it gets too hot and drops the light level automatically to the next lowest setting. When the internal temperature returns to its normal range, the light mode jumps back up to your programmed Exposure Six Pack Light Detail setting. And there's no need to worry if it happens, you haven't harmed a thing in the light. That's the reason the circuitry is designed in this way.

Another detail that's shared by many of Exposure Lights' models is the Smart Port Technology Plus. They call it that because it can serve multiple duties. It functions as the interface for the charger, but it also allows you to plug in accessory objects. Exposure makes battery packs, remote switches, white lights to bolster your output, and red tailights to point backwards to help you be seen. It will automatically recognize each accessory and configure the system to take a charge or power accessory lights. It's a simple matter of plug and play. The on/off button is covered in clear silicone rubber and serves as a mode indicator and fuel gauge. When the light is on, press the button and its color for the first two seconds is an indicator of what level you've selected for the light output -- Green(high), Amber(medium, Red(low). After two seconds, it automatically gives you a reading of your current battery status -- Green(100-50%), Amber(50-25%), Red(25-5%), Red blinking(5%-empty).

The Exposure Six Pack Mk.2 comes with a machined aluminum quick release handlebar mount. It's quite secure and keeps the Six Pack stable on your handlebars over the roughest terrain. But when you want to take it in for charging, a quick tug on the red button and it comes right off. The Exposure logos are laser etched into the housing along with run-time information. The built-in Li-Ion battery pack will allow the Six Pack to run for 3 hours on high, 10 hours on medium, and 24 hours on the low setting. Recharging this beast is no small feat, and for a full charge it takes 24 hours with the included smart charger/USB cord. You'll also get spacers to adapt the handlebar clamp to fit 25.4 and 26.0 diameters. Exposure Lights are made in the U.K. by the same folks that build USE bike components.

Exposure Lights have a two year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
