SRS+ Chain Guide

Is there a more frustrating situation than being mid-race and losing a chain over a particularly rooty and rutted section of downhill track? We think not, unless you have a bet with your riding buddies. When seconds are on the line, chain security is what matters. E Thirteen knows this well, and they have the answer. The SRS+ Chainguide is designed for single chainring use and will keep a short leash on a flopping chain and protect the chainring teeth no matter if you are riding downhill, freeride, park, or dirt jumping.

The E Thirteen SRS+ Chainguide takes a traditional approach to chain security, although it has some very well crafted improvements over older designs. It uses an aluminum backing plate to hang the upper wearplate as well as the lower wearplate and Tech 3 Stealth Idler pulley. The Tech 3 Idler runs smoothly and quietly even with multi-gear cassettes in the back. It uses their Turbocharger bashguard which is designed to flex and absorb impact stress, sparing the brunt of the force from your crank and bottom bracket. The idler pulley is fixed to a bolt-on lower portion of the mount which can be set in one of three angle positions dependant on the requirements of the chainstay design or frame geometry. Gold anodized alloy hardware is used throughout to add some bling and spare a few extra grams.

The SRS+ is ISCG '05 compatible and comes with an adapter plate for mounting it onto frames with no tabs on the bottom bracket shell. It's available in white or black in two versions -- one for 36/32T chainrings and one for 40/36T chainrings. The E Thirteen SRS+ Chainguide is proudly made in the USA. 195 grams.
