The BA3 Evo Hydration Backpack is designed for all-mountain use and won't weight you down. 

Sure hydration packs, in all shapes and sizes, flood the market, but Ergon's pack is designed not just to hold your beverage — it's an integral part to your riding equipment. More specifically, the BA3 Evo is designed to carry all of your riding and body protection essentials whether you are riding an Enduro race, 12-hour race, or just cruising the trails on a long weekend. It features 915 cubic inches of capacity with an extra 122 cubic inches of expansion, vertical compartments for body protection, wet-clothing, and even a full-face helmet. Compression straps hold everything tight to the pack to minimize shifting. The inside is divided into four compartments and a separate pocket for a bladder. the front section and hip strap has a small pocket to keep tools, tubes, and a pump organized and readily accessible. Additionally, a loop on the shoulder straps allows a Topeak iPhone drybag to be fitted. Finally, a rear pocket holds the BP100 Spine protector — it may be used with a bladder.

Although the storage capabilities of the BA3 are impressive, its fit is what truly sets it apart from other packs. Using Ergon's Adaptive Carrier System, the BA3 is stabilized against your lower back as you ride. Unlike traditional backpack straps which adjust for length but leave the load hanging from your shoulders, the Adaptive Carrier System creates a cradle between the straps that essentially holds the weight of the pack from below. Think of it as a sling or hammock. In this manner, the pack's weight is held against the small of your back minimizing shifting and movement as you move around on the saddle. It also means that there is less stress placed on your shoulder joints. The pack features 4 positions that adjust for height. In addition to the comfortable shoulder straps, the waistband is not just one narrow piece of webbing. It's a wide, slightly padded strap that is easily adjustable with one hand.
