Finally, the dirtbags and weight weenies can agree on something.

These days, most serious XC riders and racers are using carbon fiber handlebars. Carbon bars are lightweight and extremely tough. The quality that really sets them apart, however, is their ability to absorb vibration. Constant vibration, either from the road or the trail, causes numbness and fatigue. Enve is setting a new standard for carbon fiber design. The Enve Riser Handlebar is a perfect example of how this relatively new company has changed the way that people think about carbon fiber. Strong enough for huge hits and giant drops, but still light enough for XC racers, the Riser Handlebar is a whole new level of handlebar performance.

The Riser Bar was developed by riders for riders. Utilizing extensive feedback from the trail, the Riser Bar design represents a perfect equilibrium between weight and strength. A mere 180 grams of impeccable carbon, the Riser Bar is light enough for big climbs, yet durable enough for catching big air. At the same time, the wide 27.5-inch-bar stance provides flexible comfort in the dirt, and the nine degree rearward sweep keeps your wrists in a relaxed, neutral position.

The Enve Riser Handlebar is available in a 700mm width. The Riser Bar features a nine-degree sweep and a 23mm rise. This bar is available in the color Black, and is only compatible with 31.8mm clamp diameter stems.

Unanswered Question

Enve lists this bar as 760mm. Anyone at Backcountry able to measure your stock and get an accurate number? Thank you.

Great handlebar for everyrhing

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have this handlebar in a 5010 C, is a really confortable, easy handle and ver y stiff bar.

Good Width and Comfortable Geometry

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bar is lightweight, has good dimensions (740mm), a comfortable bend, a nice finish, and looks great with other Enve bits. I can't necessarily attest to the tuned handling as I don't notice much of a difference compared to my old Easton Haven Carbon handlebar (711mm). Either way it is very comfortable, even on those longer rides than you were planning on taking. My only gripe with this bar is that while the finish looks great, it can get scratched easily if you flip the bike upside down to change a tube or you bite the dust.

WIDE!!!! Both the bar and my SMILE!!!!

What is not to love about ENVE products? Well, maybe the price (although their bars seem to be cheaper than most of their products)..but I will gladly fork over the $$ for one of the, if not THE best brand in cycling...made in the in Utah, in the USA, light, strong, high-tech and one of the best warranty policies in the business.
I love the ergonomics of this bar. It just feels right. The sweep and rise is great. It is light and has just the right amount of natural dampening. For me, there was a serious acclimation as this is, by far the widest bar I have ever ridden. I have experienced multiple bar strikes on trees and rocks on our local trails. I watched ENVE's video on trimming it and may chop off 5-10mm on each side.
ENVE is the best! If you can afford it, you can't afford not to ride ENVE products.

Super Bar

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Super bar, very light weight, the added width can really be felt when leaning into curves and wanting to maintain sure handed control, watch out in tight trees! Ergonomics feel comfortable, a great upgrade.

Strong, Light, Great Looking bar

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these on my s-works enduro for two weeks and roughly 100 miles now. They're excellent. They're wide, but not DH wide, making them perfect for tight trails (although I have caught a bar end once on a tight rock section). They're damp, light and so far bulletproof. They look great too.

the Enve website shows these bars to have...

the Enve website shows these bars to have 9' sweep back and 5' up with a 23mm rise. It also shows a 740mm (29" width). Are these bars different then the ones Enve normally sells?

Just got a pair so you may have moved on. ? Can confirm these come a full 740mm. Great addition to the sled.
Your data on the angles looks right too, so not sure what differs on the Enve site. Competitive is showing 700 in body copy but 740 in the spec sidebar. Cheers.
