Built to last.

It’s been proven time and time again: Well-built carbon fiber components aren’t only strong enough, they’re the strongest on the planet. When it comes to build quality, few can touch ENVE. The ENVE DH handlebar has been tested into the ground, and the results are in — this very well may be the toughest handlebar made. Either way, Mr. Minnaar used it to win back-to-back DH world championships. In other words, this thing can take world-class punishment.

The Downhill Bar was developed by riders for riders. Utilizing extensive feedback from the trail, the Downhill Bar design represents a perfect equilibrium between weight and strength. A mere 234 grams of impeccable carbon, the Downhill Bar is light enough for big climbs, yet durable enough for catching big air. At the same time, the extra-wide 31.5-inch-bar stance provides flexible comfort in the dirt, and the nine degree rearward sweep keeps your wrists in a relaxed, neutral position.

Great Bars

I went with the 800mm DH bars for the extra width over the Riser bar. Initially I thought I'd gone wrong by getting such a wide handlebar. But after riding with them on a short ENVE 40mm stem, I was very happy with the control and stability. All around great stiffness and quality. I also like how relatively thin they are compared to other carbon bars on the market.

    Bars I can handle

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

While they market these as a DH bar they were a perfect match for my all mountain/enduro bike. They are nice and wide at 800mm and pre-marked if you cut them down a bit. The bend/rise is comfortable, and the carbon layup provides a firm yet forgiving feel. I definitely notice less hand/forearm fatigue after installing these in place of the aluminum bar I had previously. They dialed the graphics back a bit since last year they look great and blend in nicely. ENVE definitely has proven they are the leader when it comes to high end carbon components.
