The only mount good enough for ENVE.

The ENVE Computer Mount puts your computer or GPS where you want it — out in front where you can quickly glance down at it. This mount works only with ENVE Road stems and Garmin Edge or Forerunner GPS units. The fit is tight and clean to keep your dashboard tidy and uncluttered, and it’s reversible to give you four different mounting positions.

Good computer mount

Bought this to add onto my Enve Stem. For the most part it works the way it is intended. Really the only difference between this guy and the Garmin handlebar mount is placement. If you need hand space close to your stem, then Enve mount works perfectly.

    Bolt problem

I purchased this product to match my Enve stem because it looks good, but the problem is the long bolts that holds on to it has too shallow that my allen wrench always slips and as the other guys says that it should be titanium, it looks good but it's unsafe for the rider, you can't tighten it up as it should.

I had no issues tightening the included longer bolts to the recommended 5.5nm. What are you using?

      Great looking but....

Mounted it to my Enve Stem. With my Garmin 1000, I have the same problem as other people. The plastic inner ring moves when trying to remove the Garmin. This makes it hard to remove unless you stick a screw driver or something under it and hold the ring in place as you rotate the Garmin. I don't think it was designed with the 1000 in mind since the back of the Garmin will rub against the stem. I might send it back.

The ENVE computer mount is a nice little gadget for your Strava hunting computer, IF you use the ENVE road stem. Installation was easy, and I like the dead-ahead mounting of my Garmin Edge 510. What I don't like; the extra long bolts supplied that allow you to mount this to your ENVE stem should be titanium, like the ones you take out.

      Love the Integration

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This mount connects seamlessly with Enve stems. Installation was a breeze. Aesthetics and construction are spot on.

Clean, nice look but not that sturdy

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

      - very clean and nice looking
      - good aluminum structure quality

      - only fits with Enve stem or any other with 21mm distance center to center on faceplate bolts
      - it does not easily fit with Garmin Edge 1000. When mounted on the bottom faceplate holes, the bottom edge of the garmin touches the faceplate and twisting it on and off is not that easy. I put 2 washers in the long bolts to increase the space between stem and the mount, so it became a little bit "longer" so the garmin 1000 can be put on and off easier.
      - if you mount in the most up right position, the garmin 1000 will be positioned too high, so all the good looking goes away.
      - as mentioned in another review here, the inner lock ring (where the garmin is twisted), is fixed to the structure by a single centered bolt, so when twisting the garmin, the inner plate also rotates. My guess its due to the single bolt fixing - notice that in the stock garmin mount, the inner ring is fixed by 2 bolts, so rotation is impossible. I tried applying blue loctite thread locker, but it didnt work
      - maybe due to the issue above (single centered bolt), when the garmin is attached, its not too sturdy. The inner ring is kind of loose, so if you grab the garmin ans press it to the right and left, you can see the inner ring moving - again because its fixed by the center
      - and this "loose" or not that sturdy issue can be the reason of another cons I realized during my ride in a very flat and good paviment: looking to the garmin screen, I noticed it was shaking/vibrating in a very "high frequence", like a nervous hand - so i tried using the stock garmin mount that makes the device really sturdy fixed (no movement when pressed down) and no shaking during the ride....

Summary: looks it was not designed for the newest garmin 1000 and the inner ring could be better attached to the mount structure (by 2bolts), because its a shame a such beautiful piece that gives a really nice and clean looking, not being "perfect"!

      Shifting mount is frustrating

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love the integrated look of this mount. Having 4 mounting positions is also really nice and lets you set it up properly. However, attaching and removing the garmin device is frustrating. I've tightened the bolt as tight as I can, but when I attempt to attach or remove the garmin, the inner plastic mounting part wants to swivel making it impossible to actually get the computer off. I find myself having to use 2 hands, one to try and hold the mount and the other to twist the computer.

There's a piece that is supposed to lock the mount in place but it isn't deep enough to actually stay in place itself, thus rotating out of position along with the computer.

      Bought it as a gift

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my boyfriend who rides the Huntsman 140 and Lotoja (205 miles) - he loves it. This is an awesome functional piece, but you do need to also have an ENVE branded stems.

What is the spacing in millimeters between the stem bolts (please ?) I love this idea and am curious if it would work with other non-Enve stems - I have an Easton EC90 SL

The Enve website states that it is only compatible with Enve stems.

"The ENVE Computer Mount is only compatible with Garmin style mounts and the ENVE Road Stem."

Thanks for the (non) answer - not sure I would recommend it to the light hearted - but it did work with my Easton EC90 SL and looks a lot cleaner than the K Edge XL that I was using with my Edge 1000

Can you provide with spacing between the bolts on the EC90 SL stem?

I don't have an accurate metric caliper - but the Easton is exactly 7/8 inch center to center on bolts or 22.23 mm by conversion - if that helps. For the record an Enve employee states that their faceplate bolt distance is 21mm center to center.

torque wrench is a must for install

and worth noting it is not an exact fit for the Easton - would say at least 1mm+ off so you are doing some muscling and the faceplate is a little thicker so I added tiny Ti washers to the front of the Enve mount - proceed at your own risk

Thanks for the information. I just checked my Fizik stem, and its c-t-c on bolts appears to be 21mm. Furthermore, its face plate shape looks very much like that of Enve. I'm planning on giving it a shot with my Fizik stem.
