Endura Singletrack Shorts $0.00
Built for punishment.
The Endura Singletrack short is not only loved, it is well-loved. Mountain Biking UK have it a nine out of ten, as did What MTB, and Cycling Plus gave it a "Recommended Buy." We like it because it is simple and strong.
It has four pockets, two front, two back. All close via Velcro patches. There's a tiny change pouch atop the right front pocket as well. The extra zippers down the front of the legs high Green mesh vents. The short, while all black, has three different materials at work. A rough Cordura-style nylon on the backside. A smoother Corduraesque nylon most other places, and a robust spandex material in the crotch. A soft, moderately stretchy spandex panel is in the back just below the waist for a little vertical give. The fabric has been treated with a wicking finish and Teflon HT treatment so that the garment doesn't absorb water; it sheds.
The top of the shorts is secured by a three-segment belt that has adjustable tabs on both the right and left sides, and in the front. There is a zipper and snap keeping the short closed. The back of the legs has Velcro tabs for snugging the short closer to your quads. While the shorts come sans liner, you can buy the Endura Clickfast liner separately and attach it to these shorts. The Medium short has a 12-inch inseam. The Endura Singletrack short comes in Black in Small through XXL sizes.

My favorite shorts
They are comfortable, and great quality. I will definitely be buying more shorts made by Endura.
Great pair of shorts!
Order a size up from your normal size, they run small. If you have the snap in liner you need to leave room for it and don't worry, the elastic in the waist and built in belt make it easy to make minute adjustments. Very well built and durable. I personally like the Hummvee shorts better, as they have a looser fit, but these are really good shorts. These have a bit more of a straight leg fit to them. Nonetheless, I'm not disappointed with the purchase and they will get plenty of use.
Singletrack, singletrack 3/4, and Humvee
I hope this review will help my fellow MTBer's...... I have all 3 pairs! I started off with the Singletrack short and fell in love with them! Basically, Endura makes the best shorts around for the money. The material (cordura) is super durable and it will be hard pressed if you could actually rip this material on the trails. Extremely comfortable and the use of pockets is impressive. There are vents on each side of the short to cool off during the summer, the back map pockets are the best which I don't think any manufacturer designs. There are other positive things other reviewers have already mentioned, so I won't go there. I bought the Singletrack over the Humvee at first as I already had a padded liner to compliment it, but paid the extra $10. for the nicer material used over the Humvee. After a couple of months, I found a sale for 20% off my purchase, so I became a whore and went for the Humvee and Singletrack 3/4! I just loved the 2-tone of the olive humvees and thought the black singletrack 3/4 looked good too. Now, I have one liner that convenient liner that snaps into 3 shorts!
Now for the sizing. 2 of the 3 shorts run small. I am 5'9" 158 lbs. and a 32-33" waist.....depending on what time of the day it is. :) I was lucky enough to try on a pair of Humvees at a LBS and they were definitely tight! Nuthuggers! So I ordered size LARGE in all 3. The Singletrack and Humvee fit me well. They have little adjustment straps on each side that I was able to tighten slightly. There's a bit of extra room in the butt area but still, they fit comfortably. However, oddly the Singletrack 3/4 was too big on me. Also, I found a defect where the left pocket opening was smaller then the right pocket. So Competitive Cyclist (they are owned by Back Country) efficiently exchanged them for me to a MEDIUM. Arrived in a super fast 2 days! They fit perfectly! But I guess the smaller pocket is a feature of the Singletrack 3/4 because these medium size shorts is has the same feature which I thought was a flaw. Bottomline, I LOVE all 3 shorts!
If you ride XC singletrack or AM, you deserve a pair! Invest in one of these and you will see why they are better then Fox, or any other brand. Vanity shouldn't matter, but these are just good looking shorts! I get compliments on the trail all the time!
these shorts suck im returning my 3rd pair , they run small in size. the velcro cinches on the leg dont hold at all. they may bee nice if you cut off the straps and dont care if theyre baggy around the knee
Great heavy duty shorts that don't weigh you down. I like the pockets and the hook and loop tabs on the bottoms to close them up and keep them from snagging on your saddle or branches and whatnot. And the zip up vents on the front are great for when wearing them in that manner. One of the front pockets has a smaller zip up pocket just inside it for small items you'd rather not loose. The plastic buckle above the fly seems a little flimsy and unnecessary with the elastic in the back but if I really cared I'd just cut it off.
The fabric on these shorts are great, heavy duty. Exactly what I was looking for. Fit is great, I'm 5"7", 190 lbs and 32" waist. I was able to adjust the waist to accomodate my proportions. Similar to other Endura products, logos and colors are toned down and very low profile. Will be getting another pair. Pockets could use a zipper closure in addition to the velcros. Not a deal breaker though.
I've been a Fox Racing Sergeant fan for MANY years till I discovered the Endura Hummvee and Singletrack shorts. What I really love about these shorts is the fit! Not too baggy like the Fox Sergeant so when your rolling behind the saddle or need to dismount real quick, you don't have to worry about them getting caught on your saddle. The length is ideal for pedaling during the hot summer months and the elastic waistband works way better than the velcro side adjustment found in other brands.
Need pockets? These shorts got you covered with 4 open pockets and a zippered pocket to stash your keys for short trail rides without a pack. The map pockets in the back are one of my FAVORITE features. Through a map in and pull it out to reference without having to take your gloves off. You'll appreciate it on your adventures on new trails.
The click in liner is also one of the best systems I've ever used and it keeps your shorts in place! So comfortable! The Singletrack short does not come with a liner but the Hummvee does so chose wisely. The materials used on the Single is much better than the Hummvee but you really can't lose if you pick one or the other.
If you do a lot of XC, all mountain, earn your turn rides, you should definetly get a pair.
These shorts are awesome. They are very well made. The material is tough and durable. They have plenty of deep pockets and the vents work great. The fit is comfortable and does not reduce your mobility. The only downside that they are not very breathable and tend to get hot on warm days. lI highly recommend these for any trail or AM rider.
These are great shorts!
Fit is great... adjustable little belt things help do a little micro resizing. The legs are a little less baggy than others... but in a good way. Super bomber material. Well placed pockets. All in all... I'm buying another pair.
