Horrible fit!

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small

After reading the reviews I ordered a pair of these pants 1 size up. I tried them on, found them a little snug but workable. The I bent over and did some light range of motion and quickly found the pants riding down, giving me a serious case of plumber's butt. I don't trust a larger size to correct the problem, so am returning them straight up.

Great pants

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Nice pants, but they are kind of thin & no padding on the knee or shins. But they feel comfortable to ride in cold chilly days, with knee pads.

Good way to keep some skin on your legs and less on the rocks

Great way to cover your legs, fit is good, snug but not tight, and there is room to wear a pair of cycling shorts if you choose. I use them for all mountain riding especially on the rocky stuff. The material seems to be tough enough to handle some tumbles and yet it's seems not too heavy or hot (that said I have not worn them in the summer yet) . I should mention the fit is slim so don't be afraid to go a size bigger. The zippers and the velcro closures on the lower leg section really make for a convient way to get a nice snug fit and still slip you foot through.

    Endura Pants

These pants kept me warm the other day while temps were in the 30's. They also kept me nice and dry while riding thru the mud. I am a fan.

      Thin fabric and long legs

As others have said the sizing is funky. Get a size larger than you usually do and you will be good in the waist, however the legs will be kind of long (unless your a freak of nature). Thought this would bug me while riding but its been fine.
The fabric is pretty thin (they are not at all warm- should be nice when the temps rise) and I wonder how well they will hold up when I go down.
Not the best for cool/cold weather riding even with layers. Still looking for something a bit more burly.

I am a freak of nature. Thank you for the review! I'll be ordering a pair now.

How do these pants fit? Big, small?

Ok for cold, not for rain

I bought this rain pant to prevent me from being soaked rain days: bad luck. The pant is waterproof, except on the bottom where materisl is different: your legs are dry, but not your bottom.
I use this pant now as secondary protectopn and it s ok

          Endura XL Pants and Shorts

I'm 6'4" 230. The XL Endura pants were a bit short for my taste. Otherwise, the styling and material were right on. The XL Endura Short fit is just fine.

Another reviewer said they were too long. I'm 6' 6" and 185 lbs.

            Endura Humvee Long Pants

Based on the fact that I love the Humvee shorts from Endura ( I have 4 pairs) I thought I'd give the long pants a try for winter riding. They do not disappoint. I really like them as much as the shorts. They are not thick, so for really cold days on the trail (wore them last winter riding trails with temps at 4 degrees) I wear a warm base layer under them, otherwise for moderate fall days I wear an Endura padded liner under them. (also for really cold days I team these pants up with the Endura MT500 overshoe for toasty toes.) What is really great about these pants, other than the fact that you don't look like a grape smuggler wearing long spandex, is the velcro adjustment straps on the back lower legs around the calfs...these allow you to take up any slack material so that your chainring doesn't eat your pants leg.
Summary: Very comfortable. plenty of pockets, well designed and good looking.
              Another great product from Endura.
