To be a true mountain bike enthusiast in the Scottish Highlands, you need to be hearty.  Likewise, Scottish bike apparel has to be tough, and Endura's entire line is built to stand up to harsh conditions. The Convert II Jacket certainly fits the bill. This waterproof, 2.5-layer rain jacket is tough enough to fight off the nastiest squall, and light enough to stash in your pack in case of such an occasion.

Constructed from a waterproof and breathable synthetic fabric, the Convert II lets you ride in the rain without overheating or becoming cold once you've come to rest. The shell features a cut designed for the riding position, so you'll be completely covered, but the sleeves zip off if you just need a little extra core protection. Conveniently, the arms are designed to fit in the back pocket, which not only gets them out of your way, but keeps them handy in case you need to convert quickly back to jacket mode.

Venting is taken care of by shoulder vents that allow cross-ventilation to keep fresh air moving through the jacket. A large mesh rear panel allows warm, stale air and moisture to escape quickly. Reflective trim elements make you more visible form the front, rear, and sides.
