With 5-1/2in of travel, the 2015 Ellsworth Epiphany Alloy 27.5 Mountain Bike Frame makes a perfect starting place to build your one-by dream machine. XC-light and all-mountain competent, the Epiphany will climb with ease and precisely pick its way down technical descents.

Ellsworth claims that the Epiphany's Instant Center Tracking (ICT) suspension is the most advanced suspension platform in the world. As it moves through travel, ICT keeps the instant center (or virtual pivot created by ICT's four bar suspension) as close to the chain force line as possible. In on-trail terms, this equates to a steady pedaling platform so your power is always transferring into forward motion.

Furthermore, ICT doesn't require a lock-out, so you can always keep the Rock Shox Monarch rear shock's travel fully active, even while climbing. The addition of chain torque doesn't constrain the system's travel, the Achilles heel of so many otherwise efficient suspension designs, so pedaling and bump compliance aren't working against each other. The end result of ICT is a plush, less-fatiguing ride with greater control and responsiveness over all terrain.

Does it include rear axel???

This does include the rear thru-axle. If you have any more questions please feel free to reach out to me directly and I will be more than happy to help.

Does this frame allow for a front derailleur? If so which kind?
Thanks

Howdy!

Yes, it is designed to allow a direct mount front derailleur, I would recommend the SHI008C if you're planning on running an 11sp drivetrain. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help!

So the HA on the Aluminum Epiphany is 67 degrees with a 150 fork, not 70 deg?
