Spending winter on Elite's RealAxiom Smart B+ Swing System Trainer with Accessories can be the difference between a slow, groggy awakening from hibernation and being at the tip of the pack when the crit series starts up. Not only will it help you maintain form through the off season, but it provides a host of benefits and features that make those hours on the trainer a little less arduous.

The RealAxiom's Tuno frame is equipped with Elite's Swing System, which allows the bike to rock underneath you while pedaling. While it can't reproduce the english of riding on the actual road, the Swing System does go a long way toward remedying one of our biggest trainer complaints. When the rear wheel is locked down on other models, the bike becomes an immovable object and — during hard efforts or while spinning high rpm — it feels like we're bouncing along on the saddle. The Swing System's suspension feet let the bike move with you, rather than forcing you to move against it.

The included RealSoftware tracks training metrics, fitness, and allows access to the Real Video feature. Elite packages the trainer with a wireless remote, so you have your choices of just enjoying the Real Video scenery or dialing resistance to match what you're seeing on screen. If you do want to mimic what you're seeing on screen, the RealAxiom B+ can recreate gradients in the 10% range. The Fast Fixing system lets you quickly unfetter the bike for rides on bright winter afternoons, and the Elastogel roller helps minimize noise and tire wear. The included ANT+ Dongle connects the trainer to the device of your choice.
