Caffelatex Tubeless Tape 25mm/5m Rim Tape

We're huge proponents of running a tubeless tire system. That's no secret. However, it might not be apparent how we sometimes spend a lot of time preparing our customer's bikes for tubeless. Anything that could save us time or make conversions easier would be a godsend. Caffelatex Tubeless Rim Tape is a recent find and it saves us time and trouble.

In the past, we'd apply a layer of fiberglass strapping tape to our regular rims to cover the spoke holes, then stretch on a second layer of yellow sealing tape to convert them to tubeless. The Caffelatex Rim Tape does the work of both layers of the other system as it has the fiberglass reinforcement built-in. All you'll need to seal up a regular rim for tubeless is one layer of this stuff, overlapping a bit at the joint opposite the valve hole.

One 5 meter roll of Caffelatex Tubeless Rim Tape is enough to convert two wheels up to 29 inches for tubeless use. Choose between the Race -21mm kit that works for rims from 21 - 25mm wide or the HD - 25mm kit that works for rims from 25 - 28mm wide.
