Ride haven.

Easton is the latest in a line of brands deciding that it's time to make a foray into the world of dropper seatposts, acknowledging the significant increase in ride quality that dropper posts have brought. With the addition of the Haven Dropper Post to Easton's lineup, you can now choose to fully spec your bike with Easton componentry, but even if you're not a loyalist, we think trying out Easton's take on the dropper would be worthwhile.

With a sturdy EA90 aluminum construction and internal routing, the Haven won't interrupt the clean lines of your frame. Easton builds in its own patented hydraulic locking technology, which is inspired by disc brakes and paired with low air pressure and static seals to equip the seatpost to bear weight reliably over time. Since the Haven was developed to not have any temperature or weather limitations, it makes a valuable addition to fat bikes for the winter months, and with the Quick Connector internal cable routing design, you can swap the seatpost between bikes without the use of tools when the seasons change. Easton includes a standard remote with the Haven, but if a one-by drivetrain leaves extra bar space in your cockpit, the company makes a shifter-style remote as a separate upgrade.

Best one on the market

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Infinitive adjust. Comes in all drop heights and diameters. Rebuildable. AND, most importantly, it has the easiest set up on the market. The way the post-end of the cable threads into the post makes so much sense its a wonder why everyone else hasn't been doing this the whole time.
Check it out. So easy.
