Applying an embrocation to your legs before riding in cold, wet weather makes the experience far more tolerable -- have you smelled a Belgian start line? As a staple in Belgium during the Spring Classics, embrocation balms keep racers' legs fresh, warm, and protected from the elements. So, do as the Belgians, and before you ride through another 'Belgian summer' day, or simply less than ideal weather, massage Doc's Cool Weather Embrocation into your legs.
Doc's was founded as a result of Dr. 'Doc' Joshua Barton after being unsatisfied with the quality of cycling-specific skin care creams available on the market. As a competitive cyclist himself, Barton worked with both pharmacists and chemists for four years in order to produce a new line of all-natural skin care products that're specifically designed for athletes. Doc's skin care line covers three areas: protection during sporting activities, repair when the aforementioned protection isn't enough, and aiding in normal recovery.
This embrocation falls under the first category, and its easy to why. It provides increased protection from the elements, however, with a host of all-natural ingredients, it doesn't put off the atrocious odor that's all-too-common with embrocations. Instead, it features all-natural shea, cocoa, and avocado butters that have been blended with sweet almond, meadow foam, evening primrose, rose hip, and rosemary. And because only necessary and effective ingredients are added, the formulation results in a persistent and long lasting skin barrier that isn't overly greasy. Doc's Cool Weather Embrocation gently warms the skin, providing a lasting feeling of warmth to your legs throughout your ride.
Doc's Cool Weather Embrocation comes in a 4 ounce jar and is manufactured in the USA.
