  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ride about 15,000 km/yr, mostly road but some 'cross & MTB and a lot of that in hot, humid climate. I've been an Assos "die hard" for years but am also a DZNuts fan as well. I've come to really like Doc's products generally and I really like this chamois creme. It's an all natural formulation which is good and the tea tree oil in this, as well as their saddle sore ointment, and application of tea tree oil directly does the trick for me for my riding conditions. It is not as thick as Assos or DZNuts upon application but it seems to hang in there even on longer rides of 200 km or more. A tub lasts quite a while and travels well. Highly recommended. Like a lot of things related to the "3 points of contact" in cycling there is always personal preference involved in "the best" but this stuff is definitely worth a look and I'm a convert.

No mess; no fuss

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This is much lighter than Chamois Butt'r and DZ nuts, and yet it works equally well in keeping the goods protected, and no chafing. Great addition to the pre-ride prep

Really great stuff

I ride for Silber Pro cycling and we got sponsored by this company last year. Honestly some of the best stuff I have used! Works likes a dream, and keeps working even after 5 hours, something I have not experienced with other brands. Price is good compared to other brands as well. Super happy to have these guys providing products for our team.

Gets too fluid in the summer

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was hopeful that this product would be useful for summer time riding but after leaving the tub in a hot car for a post-work ride, the product had liquefied. I've used it since with good results but I would steer clear if the product will be in a high heat environment prior to your using it. A little surprising as these folks are based in Dallas!

    Works well and cost effective

For years, my go to cream was Assos. I switched to this for the cost (about half that of Assos) but discovered that it actually works better. Really like this stuff.

If it's not screaming down there..

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have several product I use and the consistency of this one is in the middle. Not too thin or thick. The scent is nice and refreshing. The results for me have been good.. so no complaints down there must mean it's working! I've been using it for about 2.5 seasons.

    Never leave home without protection

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Does not sweat off, become greasy, or pasty - My go to for longer rides. Also, does not irritate my skin as I have found with other brands. Smells nice at an affordable price!

    The best. True story, bro.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've tried everything and have settled on Doc's as it is the most 'skin-friendly', especially for long, hot rides and several consecutive days in the saddle. I have very sensitive skin and can use almost any product for 1-2 days, but after that all the added chemicals tend to cause irritation post-ride. Doc's is the only product I've found that doesn't cause that issue, and the viscosity is perfect for very sweaty rides. Add in the excellent value, and you just cannot go wrong with Doc's. I'm now clearing out my collection of partially-used creams.

    Affordable protection

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Doc's chamois cream became my go-to cream after I tried it last year. It's a little more viscous than some other brands (e.g., Morgan Blue), but not at all greasy. Doc's holds up well during long rides, even in hot, humid conditions common to mid-Atlantic/Southeast summers. It has a nice minty scent that controls funky smells emitted by sweaty undercarriages, and the natural tea tree oil anti-bacterial helps stave off skin infections . Lastly, the pricing makes this a great deal for such a high quality product. Other creams tend to come in smaller jars/tubes; Doc's gives you a big 8 oz. container for roughly the same price as competing products.

    Great stuff!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've found that most chamois creme's work about the same. This stuff works at least as well as the best of them, plus it smells nice and you seem to get more for the money than most others. I'm sold!

    Great product, my favorite

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used Buttr, dz, assos, hammer- this is my favorite of the Chamoise Sauce. Holds up over time, you dont sweat it away and it smells nice and doesnt have a bunch of chemical crap you cant pronounce. Whats not to like

    Not that impressed

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used the product for cross rides and found it very pasty and it seems to never lubricate that well. Smelled good and would like to have other products smell better. I will not use this product again.

    The best

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

All natural ingredients, no allergens. Other Chamois cremes can't say as much.

A tie with Assos Chamois creme

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm not a huge chamois creme fan. Most of the time it makes my skin feel terrible after a few hours in the saddle. But Do'cs All-Natural Chamois Cream is great. It is natural, doesn't mess with the lady bits, and keeps my skin from feeling like I just ride my bike in felt underwear. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a natural chamois cream.

    Best chamois cream

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Had a really bad reaction to DZ Nuts chamois cream. Like really really bad. Heard that Doc's may be more skin friendly due to natural ingredients. Works as advertised. 2 years of riding since swapping over, ~8000 miles, no saddle sores.
