Vortex Comp Shoes - Women's

Diadora blends features from its top-end models with hardworking materials to create its Vortex Comp Women's Shoes, giving self-sponsored cyclists an option worthy of a full calendar of training and racing. Diadora uses Suprell-Tech Morpho AM Cage technology to construct the streamlined uppers, which are shaped around a women-specific last with a more exaggerated taper than the men's version to accommodate women's narrower heels. The upper fits close to the skin throughout to guarantee efficient power transfer, but Diadora adds mesh panels to ensure your feet are able to breathe within the shoes.

Inside the shoe, Diadora adds a perforated, waterproof EVA insole that can be modified to provide the right level of support for your arch shape. The heel cup and insole are also both removable, giving you the option to add any type of arch support or orthotic to the shoe.

Using a carbon-reinforced Comp Road KR sole, Diadora is able to achieve an enviable degree of stiffness for the Vortex Comp — 8 out of 12 on the stiffness index — without a pro-level price. The sole will absorb road vibrations and efficiently transfer power as you're out on a ride, and Diadora adds a finish in the cleat area for better grip.
