DeFeet DuraGlove Wool Gloves $0.00
Wool for warmth
While you probably won't be climbing Everest in DeFeet's DuraGlove Wool Gloves, rest assured, they are designed for multiple rides up mountains and back down again.
DeFeet constructed its gloves from Merino wool. Merino wool's finely spun gauge is not only itch-less, it's also hydrophilic. This means that when your hands sweat from hard efforts or gripping the handlebars on that steep descent, the gloves are able to absorb up to 30% of their weight in moisture. This moves sweat away from your skin where it evaporates; your hands stay dry and warm.
The gloves are fitted so that you interface closely with the handlebars and are easily able to reach into your jersey pockets for much needed sustenance for long winter rides. Additionally, a silicone gripper pattern on the palms and fingers adds security to your grip. A long knit cuff slips under your jacket to seal out the cold.
The DeFeet DuraGlove Wool Gloves are available in sizes Small to X-Large and in the colors Orchid Pink and Charcoal.
- How to Measure:
- For best results, use a tape measure.
- Measure around your hand at the widest point excluding the thumb.
What community has to say
Amazing as a liner or solo glove
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
In terms of construction, these are the same as the standard DeFeet DuraGloves. However, where the standard fare features a more predictable composition, these are made from Merino wool. Accordingly, they're warm, highly breathable, and quite efficient at managing moisture. On runs, I've been wearing them independently, and on rides this winter, I've been using them as a base layer with the DuraGlove ET gloves on top. These have quickly become my go-to for all things cold?shoveling snow, running errands, and of course, riding. A long story short, you need these in your life.
