Zero 100 Bars - 31.7mm

Deda Elementi developed its Zero 100 Bars with a heat-treated, triple-butted 7075 aluminum construction in order to combine the ultimate in strength with a low overall weight. The bars incorporate many of the same advanced technologies as Deda's top-end carbon models, albeit at a far more manageable price.

The Zero 100 Bars were designed using Deda's Rapid Hand Movement (RHM) platform. Compared to traditional drop bars, the Zero 100s have a fairly shallow drop and a shortened reach. This variable radius bend shaping makes changes in hand positions much quicker and smoother than traditional, deep drop bars. The RHM shape also provides a comfortable perch while on the hoods, as the natural bends provide a seamless transition from the bars to the hood bodies.

Like all Deda road bars, the Zero 100s accept aero bars on the center section. Deda measures the clamp area of its bars as 31.7mm, which is essentially identical to other manufacturers' 31.8mm (save manufacturing tolerances). Deda takes the metric fraction 31.75mm and rounds down, while other manufactures take this same fraction and round up.

The Deda Elementi Zero 100 features 128mm of drop and 75mm of reach. Both are measured outside-to-outside. The bars are available in sizes 40, 42, 44, and 46cm and in the colors Black, Matte White, and White. The weight of the bars is roughly 250g.
