Something special

One of the things that I like most about this De Marchi Winter cap -along with the high quality- is that it covers the ears fully; thus keeping cold air & wind out of my ears while riding at speed.

Also, this medium-weight cap is made with european "Super Roubaix" fabric that is soft inside and traps air with 'diamond shaped pockets' within the inner fabric. Impressive. And it works really well.

I think this light Winter cap is best for use at temps from 42 to about 62 degrees (but to some degree this is personal).

Fit? I'm 5'10" and of medium head size (about 58-59cm). This fits me perfect. Right in the middle.

I own a lot of De Marchi kit (bib shorts, winter bibs, jerseys). De Marchi gear is all made with exceptional attention to detail, superb stitching, and with obvious pride in Italy. Highly recommended. And affordable, considering.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great piece for cold weather riding. Cold in California. I used it in temps approx 28F- 50F with great comfort. 1 caveat, I did take it off before doing an all out 20 min climb in the mid to high 40 degreeF range. I think that keeping it on at that level would have been too much. Nice snug fit under my Lazer Helium (size small). Sunglasses slide underneath earflaps w/o pressure, or fit over them without sliding about.
