De Marchi Thermal Bib Tights - Men's $199.95
Don't let winter hold you back.
De Marchi created its new Thermal Bib Tights using a blend of supportive, comfortable, and lightly insulated materials to keep you spinning away late into the riding season. But De Marchi didn't stop there, as these fabrics were then blended with specific finishing details, such as a high, zippered front panel and comfortable stirrups, which keep you shielded regardless how brutal the conditions get outside.
The Thermal bib tights were constructed using panels of Super Roubaix fabric. This is a supple, four-way stretch knit material with a lofted fleece backing. De Marchi developed this fabric to be light and flexible, and also to ensure that your body remains insulated and protected from the elements. The Super Roubaix fabric is a nylon and Lycra blend, which, in addition to providing a lightly compressive hold on your leg muscles, also works to wick moisture away from your skin.
De Marchi's stretch Lycra composes the bibs' high-cut front panel, before it transitions into the shoulder tops and back panel. This material provides you with the ultimate in both support and comfort by smoothly wrapping your upper torso.
De Marchi placed an equal focus on implementing technical fabrics into the bib tights as it did refining their fit. The goal was to create a pair of bib tights with the perfect combination of freedom of movement, stability, and light insulation. This contoured fit was made possible using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your skin. The result is a pair of bib tights that eliminate all unnecessary material, leading to the best fit possible.
De Marchi placed its restyled C-13 EIT insert into the thermal bib tights. Known as its original endurance chamois, the C-13 EIT incorporates super high density, ventilated cushioning elements in correspondence with the ischial bones. Additionally, two front channels of open cell foam were placed in the perineal zone, which is more compressed to accommodate your body while in the cycling position. The specific "half-moon" seamless shaping perfectly contours to the tights' paneling to eliminate bunching and creates a middle channel where the body stays suspended for effective pressure relief and improved blood flow.
The De Marchi Thermal Bib Tights - Men's are available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the color Black. Please note: De Marchi relies heavily on European sizing, so please make your selection accordingly.

I own a lot of De Marchi cycle clothing. I have found that De Marchi = classic (almost retro) styling, superfine quality, fantastic QC and sewing, always made in Italy, and family owned since 1946. De Marchi makes their cycling clothing with obvious pride.
With De Marchi bibs, you will also find a quality CyTech "elastic interface" chamois (also made by De Marchi), amazing value (here at CC), but curious sizing sometimes.
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I'm 5'9", 135lbs, 30in waist. Ordered the medium based on their chart. Legs were a bit baggy, the portion around the chest was gaping. The fabric also didn't feel up to 30-35F temps. Sent them back. Save your pennies for something that will fit like a glove, such as Assos.
Excellent. Made in Italy
I love winter bibs!!! They make riding in cold weather a pleasure.
These are very high quality. If they fit, you should love them. I've used these winter bibs a lot. These are warm. The fleeced material goes all the way up the chest. I've used these happily down to 35 degrees (with a good winter jacket, winter gloves, shoe covers, and a thermal cap).
Nice details like "Super Roubaix" fabric (medium thick) fleeced on the inside. This material is used in the front panels. While a lighter more ventilated fabric is used in the rear leg panels. Also, a thin flexible panel behind the knee, zipper in the front (to ease exit), sewn in labels (that wont fall off in the wash), high-quality mesh on the straps and back for breathability.
The CyTech EIT chamois is excellent. De Marchi owns CyTech (also a supplier of chamois to Rapha, Assos, etc.). This top-of-the-line C-13 chamois is very soft and very comfortable and thick just under the sit bones.
CONS: None that I found.
Note: Due to the stirrup design (which I much prefer), the ankle is a little loose. Thus I wear 9 cm black Castelli Mezza wool socks over the ankles (which I would do with any winter long-bibs). And booties in super cold or wet weather. Perfect.
FIT: These De Marchi winter bibs fit true to size. I'm 5'10" and 185. I wear a size L in Pearl Izumi or Hincapie. And a XL in Castelli. Here, the size L fits me perfect. ... I think the size L would fit riders who are 5'7"-5'10" and about 160-185 lbs.
