Storm Jacket - Men's

As the name suggests, De Marchi's new Storm Jacket was designed to be the "definitive all-purpose cold weather piece." Its construction blends De Marchi's most technically advanced fabrics, membranes, and fit to provide you with exceptional protection and comfort out on the bike late this riding season. After all, when you have a renowned Italian apparel designer developing its top-end jacket with "storm" in the title, you know your body will be well taken care of out there.

For the construction of the Storm Jacket, De Marchi used Schoeller's durable WB-400 fabric. This flexible material uses what's known as C-Change, which is a wind and waterproof membrane that reacts to surrounding temperatures. It accomplishes this through a porous composition that effectively blocks the wind and rain when necessary, while simultaneously allowing water vapor to escape to the outside. The result is a flexible jacket that provides exceptional protection from the external elements, and it keeps you warm, dry, and comfortable on the inside. This fabric was then finished with Schoeller's Nanosphere technology, which is a finishing treatment that makes fabrics water- and stain-repellent on the outside.

The Storm Jacket was also made to provide maximum freedom of movement while riding. Its anatomical fit was made possible using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your shoulders. The result is a jacket that eliminates all unnecessary material, leading to the best fit possible.

De Marchi also spent considerable time focusing on the jacket's finishing details. You'll notice the jacket features a tall collar and subtle drop-tail hem, both of which work to provide added coverage from the elements. A full-length zipper, chest pocket, and two zippered pockets round out the front, with two side-zip-access pockets lining the rear panel. Additionally, a small zipper on the cuff provides access to your wristwatch without interrupting your sleeve/glove interface.

The De Marchi Storm Jacket - Men's is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the color Chestnut/sand.
