As with all products by De Marchi, the magic lies within its attention to fabric, fit, and finishing details. When those seemingly-simple attributes take precedence above all else in apparel design, the rest magically falls into place. We think that it's a solid foundation to build from, as the Italian titan continues to deliver some of the sharpest-looking and best performing cycling apparel on the market today. Besides that, the 'made in Italy from Italian materials' means that you're getting nothing but the best when you choose the De Marchi label. The latest iteration of the top-end EVO Jersey is no different, as De Marchi brings forth its EVO-defining characteristics with a newly refined fit.

Starting out with the construction of the EVO Jersey, De Marchi chose to use two specific fabrics and mesh materials for its makeup. For the jersey's front panel, Dry3 Titanium fabric was used for its excellent moisture management properties. In addition to being a highly-stretchable fabric, Dry3 Titanium works for you by pulling moisture away from your skin to the outer-layer where, according to De Marchi, it then evaporates three times faster than conventional polyester fibers. We're inclined to believe De Marchi, as its fabrics have continually proven to be some of quickest-drying that we've experienced. This particular version of its Dry3 also incorporates a Titanium dioxide treatment for effective action against odor.

Moving to the jersey's sleeves and side panels, De Marchi added its Dry3 Pro material for its smooth and flexible feel. This fabric, combined with underarm mesh vents, is also very lightweight and breathable, making it the perfect choice for these areas where body heat and perspiration tend to collect in high concentrations. This leads us to the back of the EVO jersey, where De Marchi focused further on breathability by adding a central panel of Dry3D Mesh. Stretching from the top of the center rear pocket and fanning outward to the backs of the shoulders, this Mesh insert provides you with the ultimate in ventilation and comfort by targeting another torso zone notorious for moisture collection. De Marchi's signature Aircontrol welded back vents finish off the jersey's fabrics, strategically sandwiched between panels along the shoulder blades.

De Marchi focused equally on implementing technical fabrics into the EVO as it did refining the jersey's fit. The goal of the EVO was, after all, to create a jersey with a maximum freedom of movement and stability, paired with the most breathable and lightweight materials available. This contoured fit was made possible using De Marchi's Body Framing Technology as a means to stabilize the jersey while in the cycling position. This is accomplished using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your shoulders. The result is a jersey that eliminates all unnecessary material, leading to the best fit possible.

Equally valued by De Marchi are its finishing details. The EVO jersey is no exception, with its fully divisible front zipper with soft chin protection, four rear panel pockets (one of which is zippered for phones or keys), and oversized high visibility reflective stripes. Small, square logos tastefully adorn the jersey's front and rear.
