De Marchi EVO Bib Short - Men's $0.00
De Marchi's EVO Bib Shorts stand on the highest rung of the Italian apparel manufacturer's ladder. These bib shorts have risen to this point due to a smart, eight-panel design combined with key attributes found in its top-end EVO Jersey, like welded ventilation panels and De Marchi's contoured fit. Even more support features were made possible using its exclusive EIT EVO chamois technology. And, like all De Marchi products, the EVO bib shorts are handmade in Italy using the best Italian materials.
The EVO bib shorts were constructed using eight panels of the Pro-grade, 360 Lycra fabric. This dense material incorporates a high elastane content in order to deliver a firm compressive fit around key muscle zones. The quads and glutes were targeted with a generous amount of compressive support, while the areas around the inner thighs, saddle area, and cuffs have more of a gentle hold. What this gradual hold means is that you'll be comfortable during the beginning, middle, and end of a four-hour ride, as compressive fabrics shield your muscles from oscillation and road vibration. Unlike many materials with dense and compressive characteristics, De Marchi's Pro-grade 360 Lycra is very breathable and wicks moisture incredibly well. In fact, Pro-grade 360 is made on special knitting machines that allow an asymmetrical pattern construction for more ventilation and active moisture transfer. This means that besides staying supported in the saddle, you'll also remain cool and dry. Additionally, carbon yarns were blended into the fabric for effective bacteria-static and anti-odor action.
De Marchi's Pro-grade Extra Stretch Lycra transitions into carbon fiber mesh bib straps and back panel. This mesh provides you with the ultimate in ventilation and comfort by targeting the front and backside of your upper torso. Supplementing this, De Marchi welded in its Aircontrol back vents, strategically placed on the upper back.
De Marchi placed an equal focus on implementing technical fabrics into the EVO as it did refining the bib shorts' fit. The goal of the new EVO was to create a pair of bib shorts with the perfect combination of freedom of movement, stability, and breathability. This contoured fit was made possible using the company's Body Framing Technology as a means to stabilize the shorts while in the cycling position. This is accomplished using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. At the cuffs, asymmetrically-designed seamless leg grippers keep the panels secure. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your skin. The result is a pair of bib shorts that eliminate all unnecessary material, leading to the best fit possible.
De Marchi paired its EVO IDS (Independent Dynamic Support) EIT insert into the EVO bib shorts. This chamois incorporates two independently-moving dampers made of a memory foam sandwich to protect the ischial zones. Additionally, two front channels of open cell foam were placed in the perineal zone, which is more compressed to accommodate your body while in the cycling position. The specific 'half-moon' seamless shaping perfectly contours to the shorts' paneling to eliminate bunching and creates a middle channel where the body stays suspended for effective pressure relief and improved blood flow.
The De Marchi EVO Bib Shorts are available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large and in the colors Black, Black/white, and Black/red. Please note: De Marchi relies heavily on European sizing, so please make your selection accordingly.

Super comfy bibs
Super comfy bibs!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Every bit as good at the assos version! Great chamois, great fit, nice and plain styling. My favorite bibs. I use this for rando rides mostly as it so comfortable. Backup is assos or gore, which are also great.

Anyone have an idea about sizing w/ de marchi. I was wearing a large (I'm 5'7") and I weighed about 158 lbs, but I've lost 10 lbs and the bibs don't fit as well as they once did. I'm wondering if a medium would fit better, but there's also a change from regular fit to slim fit when you go down that size.
