Good for under 45...

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not sure how low these can go (temperature wise), but so far they've kept me warm at 33 degrees with windy gusts.

Never thought I would need a pair of cold weather gloves; but these make riding much more enjoyable. Definitely worth it if you enjoy riding in the cold. Somewhat water resistant too. Did I mention I ride in the PNW? I know they make a warmer pair, but it doesn't get much colder here.

Size wise, I am right on the cusp of Large.
Ended up keeping the XL since the Large was a bit too snug. Between my thumb and index finger, it was tiiiiight. If you have long fingers, opt for the next size up.

Good gloves

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are nice cool/cold weather gloves. I bought them primarily for commuting, but I have used them on some chilly night rides and cool fall rides. They are quite warm and do a great job of blocking wind and cold, all the while not feeling overly thick or bulky. The silicone finger grips and reflective logos are a nice touch. For my taste, though, if it's just a 'cool' ride, you might want to carry a backup pair of regular summer gloves in your pack, too, as there have been a few instances when my hands warmed up a little much while wearing these.
