Item # DAK000U

Designed to keep you from boiling over, Dakine's Ventilator Gloves take breathability seriously. In fact, the only place that the Ventilator isn't perforated is the microfleece thumb panel — and even it's optimized to wick and breathe.

The Ventilator is made with a four-way stretch nylon mesh back that allows air to flow freely through the glove. The palm is a vented silicone mesh that lets cool air enter and hot air escape. Three-millimeter-thick gel pads on the palm absorb shock and vibration to reduce numbness and fatigue, and the one-piece seamless palm reduces irritation and chafing while increasing the palm's durability.

The Ventilator is touch-screen compatible, which means you can use your phone or MP3 player without removing gloves. Closure is taken care of by a hook-and-loop tab at the wrist.

The Dakine Ventilator Gloves come in four sizes: Small through X-Large. They are available in Red, Blue, or Black.

  • Stretchy nylon mesh upper
  • Seamless silicone mesh palm
  • 3mm gel palm padding
  • Microfleece thumb panel
  • Touchscreen compatible
  • Hook-and-loop closure

One Fall That's all

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These gloves are nice and lightweight for hot days on the trails. However they are not the most durable. After only a few rides the stitching started coming undone between my thumb and first finger on the palm side. Then I took a spill. Although they protected my hand the stitching attaching the mesh fabric to the heavier fabric on the palm failed.

Perfect for those hot weather days

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These gloves are thinner than what I'm used to wearing. I typically wear the Sentinels and coming from those, these feel like they have less bulk and of course no 3D0 padding. That being said, ventilation is the primary goal of these gloves. The palms have thin padding but nothing like the 3D0 pads. I'm keeping them as an extra set for now ... for the searing hot summer days.

Great lightweight glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Full-finger protection, cool as shorties! I have worn these gloves several times in moderate temperatures (60s and 70s deg F) and I like the way they fit and feel. I used to own a thicker pair of full-finger gloves from Fox... the gloves were great, but only in cold weather, otherwise my hands would sweat to death! With the Ventilators, I can feel the breeze flowing through my gloves and cooling my hands. This is a relatively lightweight glove, but protection and padding on the palms is still good. I've gone down a couple of times at low speed, and not a scratch on my hands. I'd buy again. Go for it!

Very nice lightweight glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These gloves are super breathable and very flexible. You can use your smartphone just fine with them on and they have just the right amount of gel to give you padding without digging into your palms on long rides. I'll buy another pair when these go out.
