Item # DAK00ED

Tree-punchingly good times.

DAKINE designed the Sentinel Mountain Bike Gloves with stretch materials and flexible D30 armor to provide protection without limiting your range of motion. Stretchy air mesh at the back of the hand helps you fingers stay cool, while a neoprene panel provides a smooth shot of abrasion resistance.

The palm is made of tough but soft Clarino synthetic suede, and both the palm and back of the hand are hooked up with Dakine's flexible D3O padding, which provides flexible shock absorption and light protection. Silicone fingertip grippers give you firm control of your brakes and shifters, and a microfleece thumb panel makes for easy nose wiping and goggle cleaning. Dakine even made the Sentinel touchscreen compatible, so you can whip out your phone when you hit the bottom to take some sweet pictures of your mud-covered mug.

Best MTB gloves on the market

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

I have used almost everything on the MTB glove world and these have proven to be the best . Durable , the fit is dialed and offer great protection .

Good but Expensive

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Comfortable and aptly-padded gloves that stay snug. They do have really nice ventilation on the knuckles. Besides that can't really tell much of a difference from Fox Dirtpaw/Digit gloves I've owned before, except for the price.

Great gloves

  • Fit: True to size

These gloves are great, I've had these for a couple months and they are still holding up strong. Some of my other gloves I have had seem to tear and rip. They seem to run true to size and I have not had any problems with them what so ever.

Totally satisfied

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Medium

I'm a woman and typically fit in medium sized unisex gloves (like Giro). I used the Dakine size chart and measured my hands carefully. I ordered the medium accordingly. The gloves are too big for my hands. I thought it would bother me, but I don't feel any loss in grip. I am crazy about the armor on the ring finger and pinky! No more thorns in my knuckles. I haven't taken a big spill yet, but the gloves seem well made.

My go to gloves!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

The Dakine Sentinel are my go to pair of gloves for mt-biking.

They offer good protection while being lightweight. The D30 padding have saved me numerous times where I would have bruised with other gloves.

The gloves are well ventilated. I can wear these gloves through the Summer months in TX. You'll want something warmer for cold Fall/Winter weather.

I'll keep wearing them as long as Dakine continues to make them.

great all round mountain bike glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

I have used my Sentinel gloves over ten times and they are solid. They seem very durable and have killer padding on the knuckles. The front of the hand only has padding on the lower outside of the palm, but that is right where one would fall in a crash. The palm is a very durable synthetic suede material that grips the bars very well. Ventilation is great! I always use a large, and the Dakine glove large fits perfectly.
