Lots of room for your MTB (and more)

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just used this case to take my 29er hardtail on vacation. It took a few hours to figure out how to pack things just right. However, once I got it down, I was amazed at how much you can pack in this bag. I had plenty of extra space for a floor pump, helmet, hydration pack, shoes, etc. I also packed some clothes here and there for extra padding. Even with all of that gear, it still came in at under 50 lbs.

When traveling with this bag, you need to consider the overall size. I'm glad I rented an SUV, since this would have been a tight fit in a sedan with other luggage. You're also likely going to get charged an oversize luggage fee by the airlines. I flew Alaska Airlines, which was $75 (much cheaper than other carriers).

One minor feature that I appreciate is the included strap that allows you to "roll" the bag up for storage. This was a plus for the hotel room and storing the bag when I got back home.

Overall, a great travel bag, especially if you can get the camo version on sale!

You can fit a body in this bag!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this bag because when I go back to the states I want to protect my true love... My Ridley Fenix! I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, but I did have to transport this empty bike bag from the states to korea. One thing I wasn't expecting is how big this bag is and I have no duout that a complete mountain bike can fit in it without any problems. This bag is so bulky that it's a real pain getting it around the airport. I love the material and how durable it looks and feels. I would recommend this bike bag to someone that was looking for an easy way of transporting their bike.

What's the limit on BB to seat tube top limit on this case?
I have two seat mast bikes and I'm looking for an affordable case...
Are there more pictures somewhere or a video?

That is the width of the middle of the Bike Bag. Where the bottom bracket and seat tube would be. You will need to remove you seat/seatpost. Please feel free to email with any questions. Thanks.
