Description

Who needs bulky gloves?

DAKINE gave the Men’s Covert Bike Glove a slip-on design to create a smooth, slow-profile fit and feel that you’ll appreciate 20-miles into your ride. Neoprene flex panels stretch to eliminate bunching when you bend your fingers, and palm padding keeps you from wrecking your hands when you take a spill.

very warm and smooth

These gloves are perfect for cold weather. Unless your falling often in DH riding situations and need extra padding for knuckles and so these are pretty good.

FRESH and durable

well, im more into the dh protection gloves,.. these are more breathable and light, and it feels strong enough, i like a lot how it looks too. I bought a pair LARGE size, i normally wear MEDIUM, but this fits ok, not too big, i had use some dakine's gloves before and i recommend it, feels great, look sick and are very durable even in tuff conditions.

great gloves for the price

easy to put on/take off (no strap). plenty of palmside padding/grip. the back of the hand is lightweight and allows airflow. terry thumb lets u wipe sweat. completely satisfied with my purchase of these bad boys

Good for Short Rides, not for Long

I used these gloves for a while and they were nice enough. The forefinger grippers aren't as grippy as I would like, but the glove seemed solid enough. For 50 miles and anything shorter they seemed to be ok, if a little warm for SoCal weather. The palm padding isn't paper thin, but it's not particularly thick. Kind of a mid range.

What eventually made me hate these was racing the Tahoe Sierra 100. After 50 miles, the seam on the inside of the palm rubbed on my hand and gave me a wicked blister on both palms and was searingly painful for the second half of the race.

I've since used them in standard XC races in colder weather and they were ok, but I'm still wary of them because of that seam on the palm.

Great bargain glove

Bought these gloves primarily based on price but, after using them. I would easily have paid more. They seem to breathe pretty well and stay in place pretty well despite the lack of velcro. Taken a few 15-20 mile singletrack rides with no stretching or signs of wear this far. I might buy a backup pair....

Loved these gloves. Breathed well, fit great for my smaller hand. Unfortunately I lost mine so it looks like I will be re ordering.

Great Glove

Awesome glove if your not wanting a ton of padding. Like how there's not a velcro deal on the strap. Makes it low profile and easy to get on and off. They do run a liitle Samll. I went off the size chart and ended up having to size up.

Solid

This glove hasn't let me down, even after I've crashed on them a lot. :) Oh, and yes, I got them dirty often. The wipe on the back of the thumb is very useful for mopping sweat and anything else that gets on your face.

I found the palm padding to be just right, and have a good grip on the bar. I like the fact also that they are pull-ons. This helps the cuff to be low profile and easy to get on without dealing with multiple velcro stuff.

enjoy!

I couldn't have put it any better, thanks BikeRex. These gloves are the coolest.

Color is Good

Great pair of gloves. Medium coverage but still cool enough to wear in the warm California climate. No adjustment around the wrist but they stay on and snug. Terry cloth wipe is a great post snot rocket wipe. You can't go wrong jammin with the Dakine rasta gloves. Buy 'em and get 'em dirty.

Responded on

Agreed with all of the above here.

RASTA

I got this glove not to long ago and I love them, they are very comfy and they look good. 100% recommended by a true MTBiker. I'm only rating 5 stars; because that’s the highest you rate.
